There still seem to b fleas though. I have a young child and am struggling with this problem now. I need to use something that will not be toxic, or damage any items in my home. Your Pets all should be using Frontline, it's purchased through any vets office, if your pets go outside, then the yard is where the fleas are comming from. Treating the yard is the only way to get them to stop comming in on your pets. Then you will have to bomb your house, and wash every thing in the house that they have come in contact with. sheets, blankets, sofa, chairs clothinging etc. and even then you may have to repeat all of the above to rid your home of these things.
Treating your yard is an ongoing thing every year. Other animals wander in and out and deposit them in the grass. so it's really hard not to have them.
Also have your vet treat them every year starting in early spring and every month all summer long.

You used a spot-on AND spray on them? Don't use more than one product, you'll be overdosing!!

If any of these products came from pet stores or supermarkets, believe me when I say they are NOT going to work. Pet stores aren't licensed to sell the proper chemicals for flea treatment - anything you find in store is just going to be a basic pesticide that you can't expect to work.

The same goes for any household products available in stores - don't use them. Of course the 'fogger' you saw on line says it's non-toxic, it's not going to be advertised as toxic, is it?

Please go to a vets to get some proper, effective treatment for your animals and your house. You can get Frontline, Revolution, Advantage or Advocate for your pets, these are spot-ons that actually work, don't confuse them with the spot-ons sold in pet stores. You also need a spray for your house - if your vet can order in Skoosh spray, this is the newest flea spray and it's pesticide free. Check with the vet how long you have to wait before applying these after the previous products you've applied, but it should be fairly soon.

I have lived in the most infested house anyone has ever seen and we had to rip up all the carpeting and set off bombs in the house to get rid of them all. I would first recommend steam cleaning any carpets, washing all your linens and clothes in hot water, and spraying down everything you can. If that fails, you may have to rip up any carpeting and set off bombs.

Contact your vet or local pest control company to find out the best fumers for your house and condition.

I had the same problem when my eldest was a baby, the house i lived was completely infested. I called the council (pest control dept), it cost about £25 and is harmless to children and safe to walk on with bare feet. All we had to do was go out and leave it for an hour then it was safe. It cleared the problem straight away. Also, be sure to clear any clutter as this gives the little beasts somewhere to hide

diatomaceous earth can be found at most farm supply stores. This is petrified single celled organisms. Sprinkle it on the carpet, bets, couch, chairs, yard everything your pets touch. This just dries out the bugs until they die. Simply vacuum up the house and you are done. Safe for kids and pups!! This is what is used in organic farms for pest control. Good luck!!

On the frontline box it says do not touch the sight so why would I put that on my dog even more if you have kids!!!!

frontline for the animals and indorex or acclaim for the house is the best way, you can also steam clean the carpets, give it a few days and you should be rid of them.

Dont use the spot on treatment from the pet shop, it is a waste of money.
