Nope. The only thing to really increase your metabolism is to eat every 3-5 hours. You should eat lots of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and lean proteins. Having a healthy diet and eating throughout the day will keep your body out of starvation mode. Make sure to eat first thing in the morning. Make sure to drink at least 8- 8oz glasses of water a day. You will also need to get active. Move a little more each day until you are in a regular exercise schedule.

Some raw fruit and vegies take more energy to digest that they have in them.,celery,apples,etc.
