I am Catholic and really don't understand the whole Christian thing. Why would they HAVE to offer $1M to post blogs and questions about God?
Since when does God want the church to pay us for our systems of beliefs?
I believe what I believe. There are a lot of non believers out there that just see $$$$. Like you said the rewards are wordly.
Aren't Christians NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WORLDLY?

Please quote your source. I have never seen any Christian individual or organisation offer money to get people to say that they believe in God. On the contrary I have seen many cases where Christian organisations and individuals give money to charities, or sponsor deprived children, or arrange practical help for homeless people, etc etc etc, without requiring any kind of statement from the people who are helped about their religious belief. It's called showing God's love in our actions. Of course we hope that people will see that example and realise God's love for themselves, but trying to force the issue is completely pointless and counter-productive. People will believe whatever they choose, in the end.

I HONESTLY don't believe that money can make someone happy. Being offered a million bucks won't change belief in God, will it?

And yes, I do believe.

My ethics cannot be bought for any price. I believe in a creator, a spiritual advisor, meditation/prayer, my own chosen path for serenity. I call this Spirit/Being/God "That which knows all".

Ah ,yes! A dollar every Sunday....

and I know atheists who have and are sponsoring deprived children, practical help for the homeless..food for food pantries,,love for their neighbors

Why is it that Christians feel Athesists don't have morals?

The fine print would probably read:

The million dollars will be paid in daily one dollar increments, or you can get a lump sum dispersal paid in eternity.

1 million for what? I *might* say I believed for that price, but that would be lying for personal gain, not a good thing.

Being a Christian myself, I do it for free! Are you asking a question, or making an accusation? If the latter, where do you get this information?
