I watched the lost book of nostrodomus on history channel last night...kind of a realization thing going on there for me, i just wanted your view of what you think about his prediction of the apocolyps. i think that there will be a judgement dya one day, but being able to say exactly when and how it is, that's where i'm a little skeptical...what do you think...good answers please!

Nothing.
Some of his predictions never came to pass.
Some of them had to be twisted in order to make sense.
Some of them were lucky guesses.
And some of them were liekly to happen anyway (not so lucky guesses).

Same thing can be said about biblical prophesies.

If you want to find out what will happen tomorrow, study the past and present and figure out where it leads. Don't rely on ancient prophesies; that's just silly.

I think people are seeing a lot more than is really there. I caught the end of that and the leaps of reasoning were incredible. The 'experts' had reached a conclusion and were then finding ways to use the text to justify them.

Why is it that no one has taken a Nostradamus verse and used it to make a prediction BEFORE the event actually happened? It is always afterward s that people manage to fit the verses to the events. That is not prediction, that is shoehorning

The future is what we make it. Our good and very moral God, wants us to work hard, and contribute to both a better future for ourselves and the world. Don't waste your energy, on those who think the future is so fixed, as to be predictable. Believing in predictions, is not positive morally, working at changing future outcomes, for the better, is positive.

Yeah...you should have watched the one before it. Same subject but it was much more balanced.

He hasn't gotten a frickin' thing right yet. Why should he start now?
