The other night I had 6 Shots of vodka and 4 hard lemonades and I didn't really feel much. I felt like i was buzzing a little but not much. I'm a big guy. I weigh about 300lbs. Does anyone know why I wasn't feeling much?

Well size is a big reason, but it also depends on the person (some people can just handle their alcohol) and over what period of time you had those drinks. Obviously if you had 6 shots but over say a 3 or 4 hour period you won't feel it as much. (Try doing a line) Also it's harder to get drunk if you have been eating. If I want to sober up I usually try to eat something. A burger or a sandwich.... I'm a 6'6'' 310 lbs football player so I can take a lot of alcohol, like you. Example was this past Friday: I went to a party and had 3 12 oz. heinekens, 5 bud lights, half a bottle of Jose Cuervo margarita, 2 shots of Hennessy, and a big hit of some Smirnoff vodka from the bottle..... plus some weed..... I drove home that night. I was buzzed and having fun but far from shitfaced. (Thus explaining how I remember exactly what I drank) Though if that's what you are looking to do, I recommend a bottle of Patron Tequila.... Anytime we break out the patron, it's a great night. Your question is kinda weird, not sure if you upset that you couldn't get drunk or what. My only advice is drink more to find out your limit I guess... or wait... don't drink at all, it's a bad habit. haha.

why do you want to be drunk. I used to hate myself the next day for getting drunk. It is the weight. It will still shorten your life. You will have severe liver damage just as much as a small person. I do not mean to scare or harass you but you are a heart attack waiting to happen

Just adding my two cents. It is all body mass = absorption

be careful some did not know their absorption level and ended up dead because they went passed it before is was absorbed once it is in it is to late.

We got a heavyweight over here! Damn, it takes me about 2-3 shots and a couple mixed smirnoff drinks and I'm wasted.

it takes on average 1hr to proses 1oz of alcohol you being 300 lbs means you need more to have the same effect of some one who is 150 lbs or you have a drinking problem

It could be a number of things from your weight, tolerance, were you "slamming" or "sipping"? Also, your mood can effect you feeling or lack there of being drunk. "When in doubt go for a black-out" j/k! Good luck!

You need more because you're a big guy, also if you would have drank all that real fast, it would have worked.
