I remember very well sister, the Sunday I came home from Sunday School And was telling my father what I had Learned, That Morning........I was 6yrs old.....And He was drinking Alcohol.
He was stitting in a chair with his head laying back against the wall. >> Suddenly, He Leaned forward to speak to me, and said: " Listen Little one, There is NO SUCH THING AS A HEAVEN OR HELL"! I said very innocently " THEN WHERE IS GOD LIVING?" And He answered By SAYING: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS GOD"!! Even At 6 Yrs old, I did not Believe Him! My Mamma Had taught me differently.....And I am so glad, because God Had His Hand on my shoulder then, waiting for me to accept Jesus. And I DID. Praise God!!

For anyone that says nobody. Trust me satan is always there planting a seed of doubt either through a person or thought. Remember Eve ?
"Did God Say".....
We're ALL born with an Innate sense of right & wrong or that God shaped place in our heart.
Everyone Is born with this Inside them.
I have always known there Is a God.
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin and was crucified and rose again on the third day,and sits @ the right hand if the Father.

I was born with no belief in God just like any other species on this entire planet. Religion is learned just like anything else besides natural instinct. The question should be asked the other way around... Who told you to believe in God?

Why do you assume that people who do not believe in God, were told by someone not to ?
Interesting question, since there are far, far, more theistic organizations out there for the express purpose of telling people to believe in God, and to support parents who tell their children to believe in God.
There are even many people who want the right to tell other people's children to believe in God, if that child comes from a family with no formal religion.
Most atheist organizations are support groups for atheists, since they are one of the least liked and respected groups in America.
A few atheists do over react to the constant shoving of religion down their throats, by trying to shove atheism down others throats, but for the most part, most atheists came to that conclusion on their own, not by blindly following and order from someone else to "not believe in God "

People simply choose not to believe in God. Nobody can honestly say that they "rationally" or "scientifically" came to that conclusion, because there is always just as much evidence to back up God as there is to deny His existence. People make their decisions off of their convictions.

That little nagging voice in my head that whispered as I read the holy scriptures "c'mon, man, if this really happened it would be in the history books along with all of the other Roman conquests, emperors, philosophers, and whatnot."
It also says things like "I created a miniature universe in a glass of milk I forgot on the counter before I left for vacation. There's living organisms in that glass, and they're sinning because I didn't authorize them to multiply!"

No one told me not to believe in God. I did get tired of so many people telling me I had to believe in God. I believe what I believe because I have no one telling me I have to believe it. When someone tells me I have to believe something, I become skeptical. I wonder what their motive are for trying to push their beliefs on me.

So you think that if someone doesn't believe in God it must be because someone told them not to?
Hmmm...I was under the assumption that most people come up with their beliefs through life experiences and their own free will. Maybe that's just me though.
