I'm 15 as well, and not exactly getting along with my mom either ,but right now if I were you I'd be worrying about my school work ,and grades NOT college. You can review colleges, and price amounts on FACTS.org. I found that site to be extremely helpful. It shows you rates you will deal with in the near future, and information.Remember your grades are important,so keep this in mind.As for the mom issue, I'm at loss for giving advice. My guess is just living YOUR life right now, and try to disclude your mom as much as possible.I know how you feel , because my mom and me do not get along at all , and she makes it extremely hard to live normally.Good luck with this, Don't stress yet! (you still have 3 more years =] )

Yeah I can relate to your situation. Though I'm 18, and right now I'm thinking of college plans to help me get out of here too. I do realize that family is important, but I don't think having some 'space' is a bad idea either. Best advice I can give you. Keep your grades up, go to college, and don't do anything to get yourself grounded or anything. Freedom is key, and you don't want to lose that.

Just concentrate upon your grades and you may be able to get a scholarship somewhere and it will cost you less to go to college.
If you put aside some money from your paychecks you should be fine as far as money for college.

its nice to know that your moving out and thinking of your future and all, but, realize one thing. having a mother or a family is the most beautiful thing a person can have. please dont try to loose it. you mite have differences, try sorting it out. i know people, who have no one to look to at the end of the day and hoped there was someone.
