I think it really depends on how thin the hair truly is. I always had thin hair growing up and I always had really long hair...down to my lower back & to my booty was the lengths that I kept it and I noticed that my hair always looked mousy and not very nice. So I then cut it to in between the middle of my back to my shoulders and it made a huge differance!!!
If your hair just feels too thin and unhealthy then get some cut off. Another thing that really helped me is I went to someone who knew what she was doing (not allot of hairdressers know how to do the thin hair) and had them layer it a certain way so that it actually gave my hair volume. It didn't have to be layered everywhere but the layering made a huge differance!!!

Well-cleaned and conditioned hair can be quite long (country singer, Crystal Gayle, has a very long mane of natural hair!). However, just like the commercials say, over-cleaning can dry it out and make it brittle. So, until your hair becomes a nesting ground for birds or has netted some fish while you were swimming, I'd say you can make it virtually any length. However, you might find it a bit cumbersome in high winds, or when gravity pulls your face down into the ground, not to mention that it will be the target of every rude kid in school! ;)

It depends. If your hair is thin but you have layers and your hair is thin and long, then it looks awesome. If your hair is thin and long and you don't have any type of hair cut then you are gonna look like a hippie. Which is still cool but not IN. I thinks long thin hair should be shoulder length and not dyed black cus then you could see your scalp. Good Luck!

If your hair is thin, then it shouldn't be longer than the mid of your back. If it is longer it starts too look real stringy and nasty.
