I could show you a picture of a young girl named sara, who lost her job, got into a car accident, then had a emergency bill of 12k. She was into witchcraft and wicca as was all her friends. I worked with her previously at a Dominos ( I has there part time making some extra money for bills). I always told her she was welcomed to come to the youth group anytime but never did. When she was laid up after the accident, I helped her by bringing groceries to her and helping with her utility bill and a brought her a children's illustrated bible, she also like Veggie tales. She then asked me to come to the group. She is now a 26 year old believer. I could show you a picture of a girl named Lisa brought up by two hateful atheists, who literally said they didn't mind her being with me because since I was catholic I was probably only into little boys ( I kid you not). Last year she felt the holy spirit for the first time (walking home from school, if you can believe that) now she is my sunday school assistant. I actually could tell you about ten more stories. There is a God and ficticous beings (like santa claus) doesn't change people profoundly and the holy spirit isn't imaginary to people who feel it. I understand why atheist don't believe, it can be a hard concept to rationalize. I often say "its very obvious that there is no God, whats not so obvious is that there is" but once you cross that line of belief you see him everywhere and you really wonder why you never saw it before

Have done, though I had to turn of the awful sugary music before my brain melted. Nothing spectacular. And nothing convincing, though I have no grounds to doubt the sincerity of the people involved.
(convinced by, that after a prayer for a plane to stop flying through turbulence, the turbulence stops?... Please!
How would that individual cope with the "why doesn't God heal amputees" question or website?)
.
Would you care for my testimony as an Ex-Christian atheist?

Inspirational in a way, but personal experience is not evidence, as any believer in any religion can give you personal account of their experience with their god.

very insecure people, they need someone or something to get through life so they take hold of a mythical thing. All races do it.
