Exactly! At my other school they had lunch burgers and once in a while they were grren. Its because sometimes it can be ''FAKE'' meat. When I mean ''FAKE'' meat, I mean that its not from cows or pigs. Its like made out of types of medicens and weird igredeints. So its not REAL meat. BUTTTT.... You can still eat it though. Its totally normal.

The "green tinge" is a result of the oxidation of the blood (there is lots of iron and as it is exposed to the air it reflects a green hue). It can also be the dye used by food inspectors to grade the meat. Unless it is fuzzy there is no cause for alarm it is perfectly harmless.

Soylent Green! That is pretty disgusting, but than again, school cafeterias don't exactly use grade A meat. It's actually been proven by researchers that they use...oh about grade D meat.
