Dry them first, then they can bite them and break off pieces easier.

Yes they can, but I would suggest raw. This food will probably be new to them since their dessert creatures and desserts don't have pumpkins. They will nibble off the shell, like with sunflower seeds, but I do not suggest cooked seeds or seeds with anything added. Also, nothing really giant. If your hamster gets some sort of reaction, take them away IMMEDITLY and take your hamster STRAIGHT to your vet. This is a sign your hamster has allergies.

yes, hamsters can eat pumpkin seeds. Many brands of commercial hamster food contains pumpkin seeds. The hamsters knaw off the outer shell of the seed, and then eat the softer seed inside.
And no, hamsters won't choke on the seeds (unless they are like my youngest and talk with food in their mouth!). One of the things that hamsters do best (besides running on wheels) is knawing. They knaw for excitement, they knaw for a purpose. As with all other rodents, hamsters have teeth that are constantly growing, and when you offer foods that require some knawing work, then it helps the hamsters' wear their teeth down. And finally hamsters (and other rodents) have evolved these ever-growing teeth because much of the primary diet in the wild would consist of seeds which require strong teeth.
Dry the seeds (you don't have to bake them, but if you're baking them for yourself, you might as well bake your hamster's seeds too),and offer them to your hamster. I'm sure your hamster will enjoy the treat.

Yes, they are fine. It's one from hamsters' (and lots of other rodents) favourite treats. But be careful, they are a bit fatty, so only in small portions

I had hampsters and I would be very iffy on letting them eat them.
Personally, I don't think I would risk it as they may choke on it because of the size in relation to their mouth.
Go to your local pet store and see if they have any pumpkin seeds designed for their small mouth.
