It never fails. Opposites have always attracted. Soaking up each other’s energies? Is there a fascination that is obtained?
Think about it: Racists do it to their hated. Terrorists do it to their hated. Boys do it to girls. Girls do it to boys. I know there are different reasons for the attractions...
There could be a Universal clue in this...
Is it the energy or aggravation? What makes everything behave in this manner? Don't say chemistry? It's way too vague.

I'm sure it's a paradiam shift... (Look it up). Motorola had one when Nokia came out with digital.
It's invisible until it slaps you in the face.
So, Atheists are looking for something that someone else has. But, they doen't see it.
Possibily, more clues here.

The assumptions of people that cannot see the opposite, wanted energy are still kept in a single catagory and still believes it's true.
The title attracted the frame of mind and single minded response followed. Did they read only the title and react?

Well i believe that since opposites have opposite goods and bads, we equal a neutral and content lifestyle (I dont really know how to explain it) Picture this. x+-x=0 right? Now picture all your bad qualities as -x and good qualities as x. The opposing person has complete opposite signs. so your x's cancel. All their bads, you fix. All your bads, they fix. It equals one content happt neutral zero!

Because you religious make sure that we can't escape from it even if we try. HERE we can say what all of us are thinking without being ostracized from society, without being treated like dirt, without real physical fear of reprisal... here we can tell you that we think your religion is crap and to butt out.
Atheists are treated as the lowest form of life in the United States. They can and have been denied jobs because they are Atheist. Religious people don't like their children playing with Atheist children. And worse.
You need to get your head out of your butt and pay attention to the world around you.
Most Atheists would never dare say they're Atheist out loud because of the reprisals.
As for why I'm here, I'm actually interested in learning about religions. Education is never bad. The problem is that I end up spending the most time defending Atheism because the Christians do nothing but attack others and I refuse to sit back and allow it without a word.

What do I think? I think this is a very narrow-minded question. To suggest that atheists can't be spiritual or religious is a rather uneducated notion. Not all religions have god concepts.

That you are completely wrong in the sense of atheists. I am not racist so I can't really comment on that...
Buddhists are considered atheists. Should they not come to the religion and SPIRITUALITY section either? I imagine it is for the same reason why someone would go to the cat section; they are interested in the subject. They are not actually cats.

This section is for religion AND spirituality ~ not just religion. Many Atheists are spiritual and/or adhere to religious beliefs that do not adhere to a god. Beyond that, one does not have to be either religious or spiritual to be drawn to these topics. This section is not exclusive to religious and spiritual folks, that is merely the topic for discussion, not a qualifier.

The "faithful" vote. Until they either stop voting or accept reason as a guiding principle, they must be dealt with wherever they are. Here, it is as much for that as to keep anyone from believing their rhetoric.

Fear they are wrong? You know its easy to blow out someone elses candle to make there own shine brighter. If i was an atheist i would have better things to do with my time than constantly try to convince or belittle people who believed in a God that i did not believe existed. It would be of no interest to me what they thought. And as a believer i have to say i never have had one question for atheist, why would i? I am not bothered if they dont believe in God, its no skin of my nose.

because i have questions i would like answered and what a good place to ask religious questions but here. beside why do Christan's care they know everything there is to know about god so i don't see why they care if we are here and ask questions about there god or religion or if we debate with them
