I'm not sure how to do this i'm 19 and have never dated. i'm picky and won't date guys shorter than me, but i live in Louisiana so most guys ARE shorter than 5'10" so idk how to go about finding my mate... i want to date but don't know how to get the ball rolling on that... where i live guys like to ask but the guys i want to ask me out don't... please help me decide what to do!!!!

i think you should look up. lol.
i think find a tall guy can be a challenge with some one of your caliber.
tall guys are normally into sports. try and meet guys in this field.

Try not to be so focused on how tall a guy is and be more focused on his personality and how much you have in common. I would go on dates with a few guys since you don't have any experience, maybe you'll find that height is less important than you thought.
If you HAVE to have a tall guy, hang out at basketball courts and go to basketball games. Or get height reduction surgery so more guys are taller than you.

I'm 5'10" and I've always seem to have dated shorter men...change your specifications. Good boyfriends are sometimes are under 5'10"--its truly what's inside.

maybe you should get over your standards and date people for who they are and chemistry, not their height.
so my advice, just start dating a few guys, and guys will be less scared to ask you out, even the tall ones, b/c youll look like your open to a relationship. :]

yah. i wouldnt want to date anyone shorter than me. but keep looking. go to hangouts where you can meet new people. your probably in college so theres a bajillion people. i bet theres tons of boys taller than you, you just havent seen them yet. =D good luck~~
