What part of "NO" don't you understand?!!! Your mother has said no - that's the end of it. YOU are not the one that has to pay the vet bills!
So what if you are a lover of animals? Just because you like something doesn't mean it's right for you or the right time. When you are older and have your own place and pay your own bills, then you can do as you please.
Do you care for your rabbit without your mother having to nag at you to do it? Take care of what you have before you take on more! Don't you love your rabbit? Why not spend time with him/her?
Just what do you think strangers, who are not even in your state, going to do? Stop whining. Do you help your mother run the household? Empty the trash? Set the table? Vacumn? Sweep the floor? Keep your room clean? Pick up toys? I don't mean once in a while, but have you been doing all these things every day for a year or two? If you haven't, then you are not helping lighten the workload and the burden for your mother - and you want to add MORE for her to deal with! You are a child. You haven't the faintest idea what it takes to be an adult and the necessary responsibilities that go along with the job. Stop nagging and pestering your mother and try to understand that she may not be able to take on more right now.

Just keep talking to her and being nice to her. She may never come around and if she doesn't like the hamster idea-- try another pet you may like.
If she tells you no to everything just wait a while and then see what happens. Remember to take care of the pet you have now-- that is the best way to earn her over!

I know you should always listen to your mom no matter what but she may give you a second chance if you first take care of the animal(rabbit)that you have now and then she may change her mind

Be content with the rabitt!what mamma says goes!or you could show her how responsible you are by doing extra things around the house and stuff.

Start by asking for a pet rat instead, then "settle" for a hamster.
