I love people who think some of these bands are 'emo', and have nothing better to do than deliberately complain and trash them in forums/questions talking about them. It makes them look stupid. To all the people who are just trashing MCR, why don't you just go listen to whatever music you like, and leave ours alone? I'm sure plenty of people think your music sucks, too, [I might be one of them, depending what you listen to] but we aren't going around trashing them. So, seriously, if you can't help her, just leave!
I'm sorry, I know that doesn't answer your question at all, but I can see you're getting some crap about it. Emo is the only genre that gets thrashed, and half the time, the bands people think are emo, aren't emo. and it kind of gets on my nerves after a while. [Because MCR isn't that emo, they're just rock.]

What the f*ck is with all the gay bashing?
a. Not one single member is gay, a *****, or bisexual.
b. It doesn't ******** matter! I would love every single member of MCR even if they were all gay. Which they AREN'T!!!
c. "Emo" isn't even a genre of music. It might have been once, but was killed by tight clothes and un-smiley faces. Now, emo is just a stereotype of somebody who wants to fit in, which isn't what MCR's about AT ALL.
d.Okay, "wifey" (whatever the hell that is) eff off of MCRchick. Her photo is the farthest thing from emo I've seen in a LONG time. MCR isn't emo "hunny."
f. This doesn't really apply but Hawthorne Heights isn't emo either. And catcher in the rye? Insult emos when you've got more knowledge of how they really are, instead of what youv'e learned from listening to Adam and Andrew sing "emo kid"

That they are a sell out fruity emo band is the worst insult I've ever heard about them! My brother said that, he is an ex MCR fan he has hated them ever since I started liking them!
People may think they are an emo band, but that doesn't mean everyone who listens to them are emo! MCR is good music!
Hawthorne Heights is also good!

Well, let's see. I was told that the reason why I was bisexual was because I idolize Gerard Way.
I have heard that Gerard and Mikey have a secret incest thing going on.
I heard that Gerard was probably on drugs.
That he was gay.
That he was ugly and didn't really sing during performances.
That he was emo and cut himself daily.
I have heard that Frank Iero was gay.
That he was stupid.
That he didn't actually play the guitar during performances.
Etc.
I know that none of these things are true. I find that Gerard cutting himself, as well as him being gay as totally funny, considering all that is and has went on. (Gerard's wedding, and his speeches were he refers to 'dying before you can come back from your ashes.' Meaning that he has never cut himself, but has thought about suicide. He no longer does that.)
I support everything that the band does because their great, but I have heard some really funny things about them!

i've heard so many.and they're all the stupidest things ever.if you go on urbandictionary and read the definitions for my chemical romance..there's some weirdos on that site,i tell you O_o the thing about them being gay annoys me a lot though..'i don't like MCR,they're so gay' what the hell is wrong with being gay?it doesn't affect the music!
one of the recent ones i heard was that listening to MCR turned you into a vampire..? sad,sad people. mostly the chavs come up with this stuff, they're intimidated by MCR's superiority :p

lol, i've heard a lot of things and most everyone at my school knows not to say anything bad about them or other bands i like in front of me cause i got into it with some dudes and now they love mcr. lol.
