That if the Father or the Word or the Holy Spirit wasn't in the beginning, nothing would have been created?

Mormons, Since Mormons think Lucifer is brothers with Jesus, Did Lucifer help create? Is Lucifer a Creator too?

mewyamut, Interesting answer. I have a hunch you were born of God before you got stuck in the Mormon Church.

vrs 26, Let Us Make man in our image, I believe God is Us/our. Not the angels. The angels are winged Cherabims.
vrs30 is wisdom. And wisdom is a gift of the Holy Spirit we can ask God for (James). Jesus was blessed with wisdom & found favor with God & man as he grew up.

So? This wisdom had a birth. Before God Created. And God created by Gods Wisdom also. Wisdom is creative ability. So? Very interesting for me. Also, I am understanding that this wisdom is the birth of the morning stars.

Jeremiah4: God knows us before we are born. Because we are in Gods thinking. All things are invisible before they are visible or manifested. So? We are in Gods thinking & so is our purpose before we are in the womb.

The morning stars were created first. So? The morning stars were created first in the beginning, & Lucifer was one of the morning stars

In Job1:6, Satan came before God with the Sons of God (winged Cherabims). to present themselves before the LORD. Satan had been going to & fro around the earth. So satan was already considered the destroyer at this time. Separate from the Sons of God. The morning stars are Wisdom (from the Psalms). They were birthed in heaven. Also, in Genesis 6, the rebellious angels came down & called them selves sons of god & had sex with women making supermen. So? This was them taking claim they were the promise predicted in Genesis 3:15 of the seed of the woman. But they weren't Jesus Christ. So? God decided to flood the earth instead.

But I am inclined to believe Satan is the red spirit dragon who deceived the winged Cherebims. So? The dragon was created by God but isn't the fallen angels, as lucifer is the fallen winged Cherabim. And there are 1/3 fallen angels.

Jesus isn't a Son of God in heaven though. Jesus is the Word of the LORD in Jeremiah, who said that he knew him...

It doesn't write anywhere in the bible that Jesus is a spiritual son of God in the beginning. The angels were. Jesus is the Word of God (John1) & is God in the beginning. Jesus is the Only Begotten Son of God when he came from heaven to earth. The Word of God came from heaven to earth to dwell among us as one of us. To defeat the temptation of the devil for us (as the seed of the woman in Genesis3:15), to suffer death on the cross to atone for our sins & to raise from the dead since He alone Is without sin & sin couldn't keep Him in the grave.

Jesus is the bright & morning Star in Revelation.

So, in reading the verses you present, I believe the angels helped as a source of wisdom. Angels are powerful beings. And they have wings. The Holy Spirit also has wings. He came upon Jesus when Jesus was water baptized in the form of a dove.

I believe the Holy Spirit is God & Creator with God the Father & the Word. The Angles may be the wisdom who was birthed in Proberbs.

So? In the beginning is the Word & the Word Is God... (John).

I don't believe we were spirit children & some of us helped God create the heavens & the earth. There is no biblical support for this theory.

It is written in the Word of God that Jesus is the Word of God & is God. Not that Jesus is a spirit child with us & Lucifer.

I believe the angels were created first. And they are spirit beings that have human shape with wings. Lucifer (&1/3 of angels) was one of these until he fell. Satan is the dragon spirit. I believe we were in Gods imagination. And we were created with purpose.

So? We (humans) weren't brothers & sisters with Jesus & Lucifer & the angels in heaven before we were born into this world.

Jesus is the Word of God & not brothers with the Angels or morning stars or Lucifer or us humans. This is a mormon belief that takes away from Jesus Deity. As described in John1.

The way Christians are offspring of Deity is when we are born again. The first person is born of water & flesh and the second person is born from above & is spiritual. Whole; body, soul & spirit. The new spiritman blends with our soul & this is everlasting life within us. Then we are children of God. We look forward for resurrection day complete when we will put on our everlasting bodies. We will be in the image of God (Creator), a trinity & whole; body, soul & spirit.

Its interesting to me how you all deny this idea, claiming the bible tells us this, the bible tells us that... have any of you actually read the bible cover to cover? Better yet, studied the Bible cover to cover? The fact is the bible doesn't deny any of it.
Has anyone even read the First Chapter of Genesis vs 26?
26 And God said "Let US make man in OUR image"... (parenthesis added)
The Bible actually teaches that God wasn't the only creator(vs 30 below) and that we were created before this world was, that we knew god, and according to this verse could have helped in the creation process)
We learn in Proverbs 8:22-31 (New International)
22 "The LORD brought me forth as the first of his works,
before his deeds of old;
23 I was appointed from eternity,
from the beginning, before the world began.
24 When there were no oceans, I was given birth,
when there were no springs abounding with water;
25 before the mountains were settled in place,
before the hills, I was given birth,
26 before he made the earth or its fields
or any of the dust of the world.
27 I was there when he set the heavens in place,
when he marked out the horizon on the face of the deep,
28 when he established the clouds above
and fixed securely the fountains of the deep,
29 when he gave the sea its boundary
so the waters would not overstep his command,
and when he marked out the foundations of the earth.
30 Then I was the craftsman at his side.
I was filled with delight day after day,
rejoicing always in his presence,

also Jeremiah 1:4
4 The word of the LORD came to me, saying,
5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."
As far as Satan not being a son of God, Job 38:7 teaches that he was:
Job 38: 4-7
4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.
5 Who hath laid the measures thereof, if thou knowest? or who hath stretched the line upon it?
6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;
7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?
(If you'll remember Satan was named as one of the Morning Stars aka sons of God!)

Notice in verse 7, sons of God and Angels are synonymous in Hebrew.

And hence since Satan is a son of God(IE Angel), and Jesus is a Son of God(both spiritual and then later Temporal), and we all are "offspring" of god, we are Brothers and Sisters(or as Paul says "Joint heirs with Christ") except that Lucifer was cast down to earth without a body because of rebellion.

As far as Lucifer having helped create, nowhere does it say he did or he didn't in the bible. Neither does LDS doctrine say anywhere that he did or didn't. All LDS doctrine says is that we know that a few of Gods children did help assist Christ when he was creating the earth under the direction of our Heavenly Father. And we know this not from reading the Bible, but from revelation from modern prophets.

So now I'd ask you to prove me wrong... show me chapter and verse where it says that Nobody besides Christ assisted in the creation, and that Satan and Jesus are not offspring of Diety and are hence not brothers.

The Father is a combination of many. In Egyptology, He would be known as Amen, The Father (this is where I think the end of a prayer comes from). This name is only one of many names that could be mentioned, including: Ka (The Creator), Ra (the sun), Aten (The One), Osiris (The Dead), Isis (The Fertile) and eventually Anubis (Master Of Souls; Underworld) and Persephone(Anubis's Wife, Queen Of The Underworld). A lot of names of parts of life, summarized into "The Father".

The Word is Creation. Simply put, God says it's so, so it is. It doesn't get a lot more basic than that, I think.

The Holy Spirit is supposed to act as a sort of conduit between human souls and The Father. There's some reason I don't know of as to why we can't talk to God directly, so... that's what the Holy Spirit is for.

The main problem there is, for those who believe in Christianity, Lucifer/Satan and his minions can also influence us in much the same way. You have to pick your battles on that one.

I'm guessing all that needed to Be in the Beginning would be God... everything else could be Created by His Word later on. Chances are, nothing but God COULD exist before Time, the Creation of physical matter. I'm guessing without physical matter to get in the way, there would be no real proof of Time, so one cannot exist without the other. That would probably also mean that God IS Time, in some form. It's hard to say on that count...

But, I've read things from Christianity and Satanism that say that either Satan or Lucifer was the First Born, followed shortly by many other Angels of varying ranks and strengths. Some names of fallen Angels you may or may not have heard are Leviathan, Belial, Behemot (also known as Behemoth) Azazel, along with a good seventy others I can't presently remember (for a full list, you could visit one of many sites on Satanism that would give you lists of Princes, Generals and Demons, many of whom are known by names in Egyptology).

Satan, Lucifer, Leviathan and Belial also represent the Elements of the "Four Corners" of Witchcraft. Since Witchcraft isn't necessarily evil (depends on the user and what they're doing), neither are Satan (Fire), Lucifer (Air), Leviathan (Water)or Belial (Earth). I'm pretty sure I have the list here right, but I confuse Satan's and Lucifer's Elemental standing.

Of course, there's a lot can be said about the subject. There's "LaVey" Satanists, then there's more or less Generic Satanism. Anton LaVey (the earthly creator of Black Satanism) , I think, is the only one to have a fully organized "Black Church" that meets weekly. Then, there's those who believe that Satan is the original Creator of Earth, or some such thing, and doesn't want us to be sad and depressed. In fact, denying the "positive" aspects of Satan, Lucifer, Leviathan and Belial are what cause us to be miserable. It's a long story. An actual Satanist-- LaVey or otherwise-- would probably be able to tell you better than I can... I'm not a Satanist, just one who likes studying taboo things.

Sorry, I started rambling, but you asked about Lucifer so, I told you what I basically know about the subject. Satanism is a fascinating subject, but practice as they do at your own risk, I'd say. Good luck finding the answer you want.

The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit form the Trinity. God is the 'title' held by three eternal Beings together. The Father is the architect of all things. The Son was called the 'Word' in the Old Testament and became flesh (Jesus) in the New Testament. The Holy Spirit (also called the Comforter) guides and works through us.

All things are done through the Son. Jesus was integral in our creation. He spoke to Moses at Mt. Sinai and gave him the Commandments. He spoke to the early prophets and came to redeem us on the cross and through His teachings. The Holy Spirit guided the Apostles after Jesus went back to heaven. He guides us to this day.

Jesus created Satan, whom was an awesome and beautiful cherub. He guarded the throne of the God. Lucifer was thrown out of heaven with 1/3rd of the angels like a bolt of lightning. He is our accuser and adversary. Satan created nothing. He only wishes to destroy God's creation and turn it against Him.

God the Father and Jesus his Son are separate beings just like any other father and son are separate beings. The Holy Ghost is also a separate being who is a spirit who has not yet received a body and thus can dwell in us. All three are members of the Godhead, and are one in purpose and in the things they do.

Satan is not Jesus brother like you or I consider brothers or sisters. Satan was never born and never received a physical body because he rebelled against God and was cast out of heaven to the earth without ever having the opportunity to become a son. Christ is the only begotten in the flesh and the beloved son.

My, My do you need help. God the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are one, Yes it's hard to understand and I don't think any of us will completely know till we get to heaven. It's kind of like an egg. There's the shell.the white, and the yolk---yet it's one egg. Lucifer IS NOT Jesus' brother. He was an angel and the most beautiful angel in heaven.and very muciscally inclined. He and one third of the angels were thrown out of heaven because he tried to be like God. NO NO NO Jesus is the son of God. Lucifer was an angel. It's in the Bible. Don't listen to what people say. Read the Bible and see for yourself.

There is the FATHER, the SON, and the HOLY SPIRIT.

The father is God in his own form.
The son is God in human form, Jesus.
The holy spirit (also God) is how Mary was able to conceive Jesus.

Lucifer is a rebellious angel who did not want to take orders. So he was sent out of heaven. The one closest to Lucifer that I can think of would be the Arch Angel Micheal. Who fought Lucifer.

In the beginning was the word, and the word was with god, and the word was god. The bible tells it something like this so they get Jesus into the scene from the beginning.
The holy spirit came about when the triune gods were elected in Heaven at about the time of the Nicene council. The Creator was a word lots of people cling to so it keeps the power at the top.
However this is all just mythology and was written by the Romans to control people this is how the Christian Religion was started. They did a good job with it people still follow blindly.

That beginning you are talking about is the beginning without beginning, eternity past. The devil. Lucifer was not there. He is a creature. Only God the Father as the source, the Son as the course and the Spirit as the flow is the Creater. Anything else belongs to creation.

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1"1-3. No where in this scripture is Lucifer's name mentioned as having co-created anything. The only thing he creates is confusion, and he does this by distorting God's Word in cults.
