I am totally confused. What are seeds? i'm just so lost... I have no friends with any kind of technological knowledge of this sort...any help would be greatly appreciated! Please! How do I use Azureus? On a Mac, if that makes any difference?

seeds are people that have the complete file .. first u obtain the torrent file which u open in ur client app 'azureus' which then connects u to those that have all or part of the actual file ..

i dont know what seeds are either and i guess azureus is a type of program. But if it's not a program i'll tell u what i did. I got abc (yet another bit torrent client) its a program where u upload your torrents that you have found around the net or on other file sharing programs.
U save the torrents in a folder and they are all small in kb size and then u install the program go to open and locate your folder where u have saved the torrents and then select each one u want to download and then choose a save directory and then burn when its done.

As an example, download a file (movie) using something like http://www.extratorrent.com Then using your Azureus you download it to your hard drive. Then what ever burner you use put it on disc using for example a DVD-R. If you dont have one try convertxtodvd they have a trial. period. This is assuming you have a dvd burner installed on yourComp of course

Seeders are the people who have already downloaded the program and are uploading it for u and leechers are the people who are downloading it i have downloaded at least 30 gb by using torrents so what every "S J" is saying is complete bull because companys are not really going to sue you even if they knew you had it they really wouldnt make any money by doing so they only target companys
