Perhaps their faith is not strong enough. You know Jesus said we have the power to move mountains, but so far, I have been unable to move Mount Ranier one centimeter

I have wondered this myself because a family member is an amputee.
I think it is part of the larger question "why doesn't God heal everyone who asks him?" or even "why is there suffering in the first place?"
I agree that we SHOULD pray for amputees to be healed, and that God is able to heal them if he chooses. Why he doesn't choose to heal a particular case, I don't know, but I have to trust that he knows better than I do. Maybe I'll ask him when I meet him.
At least we know from the Bible that people without a hand, or an eye, are still acceptable to God and can go to heaven. Small comfort if you are struggling with life as an amputee. You have my utmost admiration and sympathy. I hope you overcome your difficulties and find some peace.

First of all, God doesn't hate anyone. He is the most loving of any being. Second of all, he listens. Maybe the answer you are getting is not what you are looking for. God works in mysterious ways. You never know why some people are born with disabilities, have injuries that change their life, or have bad things happen to them in general. God uses the simplest things in life to do his work. Don't be angry because you or someone you know is an amputee.
I have always been told what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Everyone has trials and tribulations in their life. It may not be an amputated finger but their are many worse things in life.

I'm so sorry you feel that way--it sounds like this is a subject that is close to your heart.
Amputees who are Christians will have their limbs restored I believe in their glorified bodies in heaven.
Hard to say why this horrible injury (or any other calamity) happens to people on earth but we must trust God to bring good out of it somehow. I have seen the testimonies of many disabled people (Joni Erickson Tada and Helen Keller come to mind) who have such a ministry and a passion for the Lord that might not otherwise have been so strong had they not faced adversity.
God loves everyone. Those who are amputees can blame sin or Satan or the curse of this fallen world for their condition if they like, but though God allows it, He isn't the cause of it.

We each must learn to live with the ups and downs in life. What matters is that we are good people. You can be a good happy person and an amputee at the same time. You are what you choose to be.

Yeah, lots of logic there. Are you even 10 yet? Heaven doesn't have any amputees, so He does heal them, just not in this lifetime. This life is so short compared to eternity, it's but a little blip on the radar, but people don't really comprehend that. Nevermind, trolls don't really want answers, just attention.

The power of prayer doesn't work like a request line. You can't request to win the lottery and then have it happen. God is not a genie in a bottle.
An amputee is no less of a person; missing a limb does not render that person useless. It is a challenge, but it has not doomed the person to fail. The way I see it, God obviously has confidence that an amputee can thrive despite his/her loss.

The regrowth of human limbs doesn't happen in nature so it can not happen. God isn't dial a miracle, God is nature and rules apply. Anyone who has a realistic view of our Creator wouldn't need to try and rationalize your question.
Those who believe in a Sky Daddy have to rationalize how God was able to create human flesh out of dirt but HE can't or won't heal amputees.
Nature is ambivalent and shows neither love or hate. Nature equipped us with the intelligence and compassion to help people with loss limbs. NO supernatural intervention is either necessary even if it did exist.

The nature of "God" is so often misunderstood we often-see mountains of personalities claiming to be a victim to this Earths environment.
For those whom lost a limb this event was a portion of ones life that was planned out well in advance.
When mankind takes responsibility as being that "physical portion of God"...then spiritualy purhaps they will awaken.

Why would God heal you? You don't deserve it,.. or even want god to touch you.
I think God would prevent the amputation from ever happening. Did you see the picture of the guy who crashed his plane into a park. and the entine cocpit was destroyed, but the seat and him were just sitting there on a heap of garbage.
Now... Why do you think that God would need to grow back an arm? To prove himself to a hatefull person like you? You choose not to believe because it's inconvienant to your hearts desires. The number one healing God hands out is a heart healing. God just might heal that spitfullness out of your heart.

Obviously God is punishing them for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
They simply shouldn't have been pushed by that drunk person onto the train tracks while minding their own business, they should've been paying attention and leapt Matrix-like back onto the platform, but noooo, instead they just lie there befuddled and of course the train shears off their leg at the knee.
And that guy who lost his finger shark fishing, why, of course it was his fault for not anticipating the split-second when the shark's jaws would clamp down, he should've seen time slow down and retrieved his precious digit at the last instant, but nooo, instead he allowed the shark to clamp down and gnaw his finger off.
Obviously these people don't appreciate their limbs enough, thus God sees fit to punish them for their ignorance if they fail these simple tests of human reflexes and coordination.
