My sister is in 6th grade and goes to a privet school. She has best friends in the public school and at her school. Most of the people at the middle school who are her friends have boyfriends. Well today she went roller skating and the guy she liked went up to anouther girl with hair shorter then his and asked her if she would couple skate with him. She tried to keep her "cool", but the girl who he asked kept on tellign her about it, when she was right there. My siter is beutiful, the only thing is she is allergic to somthing and it makes her face break out in a rash. Its not that bad or anything. Its goign away, but she thinks thats why she doesn't have a boyfriend. Do you think thats what it is. Here is anouther thing she says the guy flirts with her, but she pretended liek she had no intrest in him, so I guess he backed away. Which is kinda her fault. WEll here is the question. WHY DOESN'T SHE HAVE A BOYFRIEND??? i MEAN JUST TAKE A GUESS. sHE IS VERY NICE AND PRETTY!

look i was also in a private school but thats not what u care about the reason she dosent have a boy friend is because not all the boys in 6th grade want to have a girl friend and i was one of them they just arent ready or they just go with the flow and if they dont find a person they click with they wont look for their selfs( i was like that ) dont let her get depressed tell her their is nothing wrong with her and after a while she will find a bf if not in intermediate school in high school

If the rash isnt too bad then she must b attracting boys but looks isnt everything. You have to have a good personality toget along with anyone. You should neva show no interest, this may be the problem. Even if its very suttle hints like just hugging when saying goodbye, it will keep a guy interested and hopeful, or at least make another guy wish that he was getting the attension, whereas if you wont show any signs guys can just think "oh, who am i kidding, its not even worth trying".
To start off any relationship your sis needs to show slight interest, im afraid there is no other way unless a guy is totally obsessed and its like a "love at 1st sight"/"only love for me" sorta thing which in 6th grade is not really ganna happen (sorry but its tru).

She shouldn't act like she isn't interested if she is. She shouldn't act like she is interested if she isn't. She shouldn't play games because the other person might not know she is playing and/or might not know the rules she made up. She shouldn't be self-conscious about things like the way she looks if she can't change it (like the rash she sometimes gets). If she is honest and nice and feels good about herself, then eventually some guy(s) will want to be her boyfriend. But she is only in 6th grade, too, so there really isn't any hurry.

well, there is nothing wrong with her at all ok. i didnt have a girlfriend since the start of school all the way rite tll the end of school, all my m8s did yes but its just that the right sorta person hasnt come along yet. tell her to let the guys flirt with her, dont be shy about it. and reli don worry about your others m8s having a boyfriend because when you have one, it will be all the more special and better. dont dwindell of not having a boy friend, just go with the flow and let it happen. good luck!

I'd say, shes young. A lot of the good guys really wont start thingking about dating until they are maybe 14 or 15. A lot of the ones that do date that young are trouble. Since the guys can plainly see your sister isnt "easy" they dont waste any time on her. Believe me she's better off.

she's in SIXTH GRADE!!!! oh my gosh... babe, she's 11 or 12 years old? That's way too young to be getting all upset that she doesn't have a boyfriend!
How about she just be happy that she's single and gets to flirt with whoever she wants. Someone that age shouldn't even be dating imo. They are not mature enough to understand what a relationship is.
Crushes are fun, but just because you like someone and you're 11 years old, doesn't mean you have to go date them. Kids are dating waaaay too young these days imo.

6th grade huh?! Give her another 6 years and she'll have too many boyfriends you'll be asking us for advice on how to handle them. She's to young to be thinking about having boyfriends, get her away from her friends, bad influence. You as her sister need to encourage her that boys will like her for who she is, not by looks. Tell her to be patient, there is no need to rush into heartbreak.

it is not because of the breakout because me personanly i do not really care if a girl has a breakout because that is not what counts it is the personality and how she acts. well if she just acts like herself around the boys and not act like somebodyelse that might help, and another thing that might help is if she likes a guy she can go up to him and see if he wants to hang out sometime and that will be a start

Come on. 6th grade! Tell her to wait till shes in 7th grade. 6th is a little early. shell hav 2 build a fence to keep out the boys in 7th grade. plus, it is her fault the guy baked away. tell her to tell the guy how she feels.

if a guy doesn't want to go out with her or if he doesn't think she is pretty enough or smart enough, that is his loss. if a guy doesn't want to date her because of a stupid rash, he is a jerk and doesn't deserve her. don't let her get down in the dumps because a guy is shy or doesn't like her.
