chemicals can poison you, depending on which chemical....
germs or bacteria can cause infection, including the methicillin resistant staph aureus that has been in the news of late.
so clean the cut with soap and water, apply neopsporin and cover it with a bandange, change the bandage daily, until it is healed, keep it covered.
