People blame him for everything else too.

Because they're ignorant. Many blindly hate him for just about anything.

That comes with the office of President. Every president gets it.

The global warming crowd however tends to push their agenda on everyone else. Anyone who stands in their way they'll just as soon run over.

Blaming President Bush for global warming presumes the White House has the authority to control global warming. By placing all the blame on President Bush, people can avoid having to acknowledge that any previous occupants of the White House, such as Al Gore, bear any blame for failing to bring the White House's presumed authority to bear so as to solve the global warming problem. Of course, had Al Gore solved global warming while he was in the White House, there would be no carbon offsets to profit from trading.

People don't blame him for Global Warming because it would be very hypocritical of them to do so as we all contribute towards Global Warming. The reason people are critisizing him for it is because he has not taken any action (or very little and was very hesitant to do so) to help tackle the problem despite that we're the world's second most polluting nation. Most developed nations have all agreed to cut CO2 but 2020, but Bush keeps refusing to sign the treaty that would enter the US in to this even though he is receiving pressure from the international community to do it.
Foreign countries critisize him because this planet is everyone's home and they don't want one group of people (Americans) destroying it.
Although I think he is more willing to co-operate as opinion polls show the majority of Americans want to help tackle global warming.
He is also heavly unpopular, so people will use anything they can to blame on him. But if you're going to be president, you have to expect people to blame you for somethings as you can't make everyone happy!

People in general blame the current president for everything. Clinton was a firm believer in global warming and did nothing about climate change, except drive the price of gasoline down to an unrealistic price which caused all auto manufacturers to concentrate on building even more massive and powerful and inefficient automobiles. But, Texas leads the country in wind power because of a decision in 1996 by it's governor named George W. Bush.

People need to blame someone to make themselves fell better. Just like people blame are grandparents for global warming when in fact they consumed less then us. By blaming politicans it makles us feel better about doing nothing.

Because although he's acknowledged since 2005 that humans are the primary cause of the current global warming, Bush has done nothing about it. In fact, on several different occassions he's undermined worldwide efforts to reduce emissions, like at the recent G-8 conference.

Global warming is not Bush's fault, but he's done a lot to prevent action on the issue.

Global warming has very little to do with the environment. It's a political issue, and not much more.

I don't blame Bush for global warming. But I do blame Bush for not doing one darn thing about it, for dragging his feet, and for obstructionism on the issue. Here's his record of "action":

1. Withdrew US from Kyoto protocol.
2. Hired political hacks to "spin" the science, edit/censor scientific conclusions, and muzzle scientists from speaking out on the issue.
3. Announced plans for new, non-mandatory guidelines, which won't even be written until he leaves office. (Crisis? What crisis?)

Because those people are idiots. No one is solely to blame for global warming - we ALL are.
