Im on a 1st provisional and I want to know will I be able to drive without a fully licensed driver? I know you had to anway before these new rules but the guards let you away with it....Can I drive with my L plates up without worrying about getting pulled over???????????????

idk about ireland.
but we're getting new rules in canada starting in '08.
you have to have your beginners license for a whole year... the whole year while you have your beginners there is an L plate, and you have to have a fully licensed driver in the car with you as far as i'm concered

Im guessing (Im English not Irish) that you need a fully licensed driver with you to drive with L plates.

Well i'm on a first provisional aswell and i'm still driving i never had l-plates up from day one. i get pulled but they never say anything
