i was always told to gargle with salt water, and supposedly you can chew on twizzlers (candy) and it will help it. but then again i havent had a sore throat in a long time.

Use a humidifer to add moisture to the air. Drink plenty of fluids and soothe your throat with hot tea with honey and lemon. Go easy on the cough drops. Save them for coughs. Stand in a hot shower and breathe in the steam. Chicken broth is good for you too. (and a doctor!)

It sounds like strep. Go to the dr. immediately. If it is, you need antibiotics. Try drinking hot tea to soothe the sore throat.

Try Cepacol cough drops they work well. The best thing is tea with lots of lemon and honey its very soothing. Try it luke warm if you think that hot tea will be too hard to swallow.

you need to have a rapid strep test done. it may be more than just a sore throat.
