My car just recently got an oil change. Automatic 120k miles and now makes a somewhat high pitch ring. I thought it might be the belt because that sounds where the sound is coming from. I also noticed that my car is vibrating more than it did. Did the mechanic change something perhaps that makes this sound? What could I do and or check to resolve less noise from the front compartment? Is it possible for the engine now to make more noise with a new oil change? I just bought the car 2 months ago and I'm used to driving a ford explorer so its a bit different and I'm sort of paranoid. Thanks in Advance.

Did you check to make sure he added oil? Sometimes they forget.

You are imagining it. I bet it's just paranoia.
It might be that he over filled the oil??? Check your oil level!
