Can someone help me? it's my mother she's got the above problem... she's had it for years and nothing seems to help her... She's had gaviston.. peppermint oil tablets... renatidine tablets... all from the doctor but nothing has helped her. She can't eat as her stomach feels bloated and aches all the time. So can anyone come up with a cure for her so she can live a normal happy life free from pain and dicomfort... many thanks..

I have the same problem.... It is horrible:( But I found little things to help relieve the pain.. For some reason, a little Fiber sure(you can get a any drug store walmart, target) in some tea works the best for me. Heating pad, warm baths.... She she also track what makes it worse, with me it is soda, milk, coffee. Hope this helps

I have ulcers ,and my family has the same or simular stomach problems as your mom. Iwould recomend a high dose of tagament like 2 400mg tablets a day,or the once a day pill called nexium.

Oh dear, Kenneth.
I do have two suggestions, but I won't guarantee either one of them: They're just things that seem to help my husband, who has similar though not identical problems.
1) Papaya enzyme tablets. You can get them from your local health food store. They are chewable.
2)Chamomile tea with ginger, lemon, and honey.

more fruits....preferbly citric fruits....and water...normally what they say is a shot of peppermint snaps will do the trick. in Germany they swear by it so everyone has a shot (only one it will make you drunk) of Ouzo after supper. amazingly enough it helps alot.....
