My bf is having chest pains. He doesn't have pain in his left arm, no numbness or pain in his jaw, the pain is an ache that occurs every 30 seconds or so. Breathing different ways doesn't affect the pain. Touching and compressing with my hands doesn't do anything either, good or bad. He says that the pain has lasted about 18 hours. His stool is normal, he doesn't have heartburn, headache, nor a stomach ache. Please give me an idea of what is going on and how urgent this is????? My mom will be home in about an hour....can it wait that long?

To be on the safe side, call 911 and report chest pain. It's probably nothing serious (especially after 18 hours!) but better not to chance it.

I wouldn't.
Your boyfriend is young, and presumably healthy, but he needs to be seen. Call one of his parents, or a good friend, or THE AMBULANCE!

well...can ya drive him to a doctor or ER...just for safety ...may be nothing,but,can't take a chance...lots of things can be causing this,some are urgent ..good luck
