Killing others and yourself in the process to prove a point???

Is it really necessary? Aren't there better ways to prove a point than killing yourself and others?

Or does making an omelette require breaking a few eggs? (Figuratively speaking, of course)

But I always imagined, what if, back in the day, Winston Churchill (yes, I'm British) had been told "no", by the Americans, who decided to stay out, and the country was on the brink of German invasion. No hope at all ...

What if the only way to save this little island involved people becoming sacrifical bombers and blowing themselves up???

OK, so, not religion, but patriotism ... would you have been willing to do just that?

I wouldn't, but then, I'm gay, and they didn't let boys like me in the army back then ;oP

No. It is not necessary to kill others to prove a point. Didn't work for the Irish or the Arab. Give prayer a chance.

no if you are not an example of peace and love and tolerance for your religeon then you are just doing harm and no good at all ... i think its plain that God doesnt need a puny human to do His smiting for Him anyway ...
