No. The government will only ship your items when you PCS or are discharged out of the military. If you're going back to your hometown during a deployment, its probably cheaper to keep your stuff in a storage unit for the duration.

Nope, they only ship your household good when your PCS'ing or He gets out of the Military. If you plan on going back to your hometown maybe try storing your stuff in a storage unit while he is gone. a lot cheaper !

No, they won't. And they won't pay to move it back afterwords either.

If you're going to try to leave the stuff in a house and just pay rent for an entire deployment you'd better check your lease carefully. Every housing one I've signed (both military and privatized) considered a house abandoned at 30 days unless they had prior notice. And even some of the civilian leases I had did that too.

No they will not. Be proud of him and support him go home for visits but keep your household together while he's gone so he has a home to come back too! And for all who are in the service currently Thank you and Your spouses for all you do for our country....God bless and safe sea's

No sorry alot of spouses either put them in storage , have family members help them or do not give up housing all together , but still go home until he returns.

If you decide not to give up your house you can still leave housing, just let them know where you are and when you will return..

Good Luck

My hubby (still fiance when first deployed) just stored all his stuff in a storage unit there in the post town. That way, he was still able to keep his BAH while he's gone.

No they will not...your home is where ever you are stationed and that is the only place the military will move you free of cost (every PCS), they dont expect wives to run home with every deployment, they expect them to stay at their homes and support their husbands and continue on with their daily life. Sorry Just the facts

Sorry but they wont ship them. And when he does get out they will only ship them to his point of entry where he joined.

no. HHG moves are only authorized during PCS orders. nor will they store it for you, and you lose base housing if applicable.
