Wicca. It doesn't say it's the right religion. It's always changing and growing and open to new ideas and discoveries, It's about respecting your body and Nature as a whole and giving fourth change in the world. You aren't forced with any type of set dogma.....and.....you will have fun.

Your looking for something to suit you, not for something that is truth, by your own words. You have to want to find truth, whether it accommodates your liking or not. Otherwise, you can make a choice to make your own religion. That is what most religion is anyway. A set of rules and rituals that accommodates a particular group of peoples desires. I am a Christian, but I really despise the word religion. I personally think no one religion is the right one. Most of the religions have some kind of teaching on death and after life one way or another, so I think it will be very hard for you to stay away from that subject. I am not sure how you think that seeing corpses would tell you anything at all about what happens after you die. You couldn't tell that by simply looking at a corpse. Your looking for a religion that doesn't have anything to say about afterlife, and that it is just the end, why? I am not sure what religion means to you by your personal definition, but I would think that most people involved in religion look to it for guidance of some sort of deity. What would the purpose be to have any deity that would offer you nothing? Why would it even be? Why would you then worship it? If that were the case, I would be an atheist myself. It isn't though. With Christianity and salvation comes the promise of eternal life of peace and love and joy. I know most would like to call Christianity a religion, even some Christians, but it is not. Christian means to be Christ like. So it applies to those that are followers of Christ with a personal relationship with Jesus, not a relationship with the local chuch or a relationship with a religious idea. With Christianity comes the realization of eternal life, one place or another, there are only two choices. I hope you find truth, not a religion.

Well, by not mentioning Heaven or Hell makes it very difficult to answer your question. That's kind of like saying not to tell you what the score is or was, when describing the result of a baseball game. Each person has an inner being--a soul. The soul is not physical, or material, and as such can not be seen. Like our thought process, ideas, our inner emotional feelings, who/what we love, our attitude and perspective. You don't see these things either because they aren't physical and have no being untill being put into play. You never saw a corpse ideas ideas-right? It isn't this present day body that goes elswhere upon death. It's the spirit. This present day body will be changes and reunited with our spirit, inner person, soul, upon the last (judgement) day. You can't see that either simply because the last day, the return of Christ, isn't here yet. The inner person, the soul/spirit goes to one of two places upon death, and continuosly lives there, be it good or bad, till the last day. Upon the last day the inner person will rejoin the, now alive, physical body and spend eternity in that given place. Most religions main subject were hear at one time. In Christianity it is Jesus. Jesus was here in physical form about 2000 years ago. Why didn't you see Him? You weren't here yet. Like Abe Lincoln, we can see him in history, writtings, etc. I'm not obsessed with death, but it's upon death that I will enter eternity. Sorry, but that is the only way to say it, because that's the only way it happens. Like a seed when it is planted. The seed itself dies to give life to whatever species it is---tree, flower, apple, peas, etc. Death comes before the new begins. Jesus physical being died---but it didn't last long. Jesus is alive and we can be too.

You say you aren't finding what you are looking for. What are you looking for?
I cannot convert you - that is God's job. My job is to be a witness about what God has done for me. This is what He's done for me. I accept myself now. I have more love, joy and peace now. I know my purpose now. Being forgiven is life changing. I am a new person now. This will last forever.
By the way, I'm convinced that religion won't answer what you are looking for. Only a relationship with God will. Relationship - not religion. If you would like to start a relationship, check out www.godlovestheworld.com.

I can only try to convince you that it is unknowable. You don't know for sure what happens after death since you are still alive. You know what happens to the body but we may have a spirit and that spirit may go somewhere else. I'm a non-believer but I don't rule out an afterlife of some sort only because there is no possible way for any living person to know what it is like to die. I'm ruling out people who claim to have had 'near death' experiences or people who have been brought back to life, etc..

If you are looking for logic, you are in the wrong area (religion). There is no logic in religion, just questions that they try to answer with child-like simplicity. Just because we don't know the answers to everything doesn't mean there must be a god. Atheism makes far more sense, so long as you can live with it. Some people need the crutch of religion more than others, so atheism takes a bit more fortitude.

to begin i would not attempt to convert you, nor anyone for that matter - you have freewill.
in my experience, i was a catholic and then agnostic and i have since had my proof of life after death and indeed, i know that there is only death of the body - the corpse's you have to deal with in your job - remember as well, you have probably become so used to dealing with the human body as a human function you may have lost touch with it as a spiritual energy conduit.
I believe organised religion - as we know it - is a bad thing.
i hope you continue your search and find what you are looking for :-)
good luck

%. up a replica of C.S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity". while you're keen to anticipate that there is a customary ethic (jointly as some morality is a controversy of subculture or opinion, there is a few morality it is customary--some strikes are incorrect/evil no count number the place you have been born or what subculture or faith you're raised in--even an 'undiscovered tribe' could understand those truths), then it takes you to the place you're able to logically could desire to come to a decision on between Christianity and Islam. Atheism and all dualistic religions make little on condition that as quickly as you're making that assumption. It additionally factors out that for each and each of the ameliorations between Christian church homes of diverse denominations, all of them agree on the subject of the main needed issues. After your edit: in case you probably did no longer study the e book, you probably did no longer seem into it. i assume you like each little thing in tiny programs all wrapped up for you, yet no longer something properly worth understanding is like that--you're able to desire to offer it a splash learn or you will no longer get it. Your extreme college technology textbooks did no longer sum it up for you in 1000 words or much less, and those did no longer hit the top of the iceberg as far as what you should earnings from technology. How do you assume something as enormous theology to be be wrapped up in a resounding way right here in this communicate board? in case you utilize this bunch of solutions as extra information which you should be an atheist, you're a pseudointellectual. you're able to desire to benefit this extra earlier you may truly dismiss the assumption and sense which you're proper, and not in basic terms guessing.

Have you heard of Seventh-Day Adventists? Sorry to mention heaven and hell but please keep reading so this will make sense! Adventists do not believe in hell and they do not believe that your soul goes to heaven when you die. The soul and body do not separate, but rather those who have accepted Christ will rise in the second coming and be taken to heaven at that time. They believe in a loving, kind, but firm God who seeks to bless his children whether they believe in Him or not. They believe that sin in this world causes the terrible things that you see happen and find comfort in their faith. (Yes, very bad things do happen to even the most devout Christians). They worship on Saturday instead of Sunday and believe in a healthy diet and lifestyle. Want to know more? e-mail me at 1appleaday@gmail.com or check your local listings for an SDA (Seventh Day Adventist) church. Best of luck with your searching.

Only you can convert yourself. I would be arrogant if I even attempted to try. What could I, a human just as yourself say to convince you my beliefs are better than yours. You are still searching, you are still studying religions. When you end your search, then you will know for sure. If your soul is still urging you to search, then your journey is not yet over.
