And why should everyone embrace Atheism?

(and why did Yahoo! put this question under "Psychology"?)

No guilt after sex.

We can use the Bible as a weapon against Christians, but they cannot use the Bible as a weapon against us.

No guilt after sex.

Science creates theories baced only on the facts it can see.

The only believable lie has truth in it.

Science is making assumptions baced on a limited perception. Science is a lie.

Love comes from the soul. For if love came from a hormone, then it would come from with-in like adrenaline.

People think that people imagine the feeling of love. That it’s a trick of the brain.

Yet, love comes from where the people touch you, not from with-in like a hormone. If love were up to the perception of the user, then how come no matter what mood you are in,.. you still feel love. If you hate the person loving you, you may feel grossed out to love,.. but still feel the love. If love were up to the imagination of the user, then you could trick people into thinking inanimate objects are people hugging them.

Now from what is seen here, we see that the soul has an energy that is independent of matter,.. but has side effects in matter. Hence the brain is specifically designed to react to the spiritual energies we emit.

Now what do you say about the people who have felt God’s love? Being in God’s presence charges the soul and body. It’s called the renewing of the Holy Spirit. And this residual effect goes away when people travel down old thought patterns that contradict the perfection that is God.

I am only called an atheist because I haven't an active belief in deities. I have no evidence. So I do not to believe things for which I have no evidence.

Can't say that's anything to be proud of one way or the other.

I am just honest, and not too proud to say that I 'don't know' all things.

I like to be able to have a clear conscience and also respect others enough to be 100% honest.

If I made myself believe in things for which I have no evidence, or things which go against my morals/ethics, then I would be a false person.

So I recommend being true to yourself and others, whatever that means for you, and whatever that entails, so long as it harms no-one. Belief or no-belief in deities is not a measure of a good or honest person.

I also *don't* have to call people 'vile and disgusting human beings' for not believing in my chosen 'deity'.

Always a plus...

Seeing the world as it really is (to the best of your knowledge) as opposed to how you want it to be.

You should only be an atheist if you believe atheism (a lack of gods) is a true description of this world.

Not going to church and listening to sermons a million miles long about something that comes from a few simple scraps of parchment . Everything known could fit in one small book, but trillions of hours of sermon , and many millions of books evolved from the ancient supestitious scribblings .
And the Holies say that they don't believe in evolution .

The best thing about Atheism is you can feel that you do not need fear of eternal damnation from some invisible magical being to be a good person.
