It's not about it being cool, it's about abolishing many cultures and nations to acheive something that is truly unneccesary. People pride themselves on reflecting where they're born and who they are. Can you Imagine if the United States join with Canada and Mexico to form one giant nation? For Example, "Mexicanamerica". (MexiCanAmerica) ? It's ridiculous. It's like conjoining al european countires into "Europa" or something Then what happened to italy? And the Germans, the English, The Spanish, the French, they all become Europans. althought they already are Europeans, they derive the name from the continent. Believe me, not a good idea

The question what is better, to decentralize or centralize is forever a challenge. I know companies, who change every couple of years, this way or that way and sometimes it works, sometimes not. It's risky.

No thanks.

The political and economic differences would eventually lead to a civil war for control of the hemisphere.

I would prefer the socialist Marxist tendencies among some of our neighbors to the south be kept within their own borders. That way they have no one to blame for their problems but themselves although no doubt they will blame the US anyway. No socialist has ever accepted blame for their own shortcomings. It’s always somebody else’s fault when they run out of looted money.

Well...while this may help the various 3rd world country's down south...I can't for a second see how this would help the US and Canada...or are you suggesting that the US should have a crazy dictator running it (oh wait...we already do)

No. That would be even worse than the NAU idea. I know very well who would be funding services.

I do not believe it would be good for the United States to relinquish our sovereignty under any circumstances.
