CL Richardson, wouldn't that be God's fault they are burning in Hell?

primoa, I actually respect you quite a bit. I love when you answer my questions. We believe very differently but I think as people we are very similar. You seem to have a caring and respectful nature about you, but you also speak your mind bluntly, which I do as well. ((primoa))

CL, remind me... who made Hell? And who decided that some people should go there?

Do atheists even believe in eternity? From an atheistic point of view, eternity wouldn't matter to them because they won't be a part of it, I guess that would be the good news. I am a Christian and I must admit that I have a strange sort of respect for anyone that can live life with the belief that this is all there is, nothing more. I would be depressed from the moment I woke up until the moment I fell asleep if I believed that to be true. The only time I feel that sort of hopelessness is when I attend a funeral of someone that I love and I know (because of what they have told me, not because of my judgment) that they are not in heaven. There is a peace that comes with knowing Jesus Christ that you can't get from anywhere else, I know because I have tried.

You are going to spend an eternity wishing you would have listened, and chosen Jesus. You are having your fun now, but that will end, unless you turn from your unbelief.
I know that you don't believe in Heaven or Hell. But, what if I'm right? What then? There won't be a second chance once you die or Jesus comes back. That will be it. It could be today or tomorrow. Spending an eternity in a fiery pit where you will be screaming and gnashing your teeth together because of the pain isn't my idea of rest.
Jesus said "Come to Me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." There is no rest in Hell. They are tormented day and night. I am very afraid for you and all others who make fun of God and who choose the path to destruction. It's all fun and games now, but it won't be. I pray you will find Jesus soon, before it's too late for you. God is giving you so many chances, and yet you reject Him. Why? because this life on earth is just one big party, and it's fun to live here? This is going to end! The whole earth will be destroyed, and the heavens. There will be only two places you can go. Heaven, or Hell. I choose Heaven. I pray you will, too.

There is no good news for someone who is not saved in Jesus Christ-- sadly. They can imagine all the good news in their minds, thinking up stuff as they go through life--- but in the end they will face God come judgment day, and they will have to answer to Him.
Romans 1:20 says that God has made His existence known throughout this world, in creation so that those who do not believe in Him are without excuse.
Jesus tells us in the Gospels, "The kingdom of God is near, repent and believe the good news!"
That good news is that there is salvation in Him! And it is only through Him we can enter into heaven, apart from Him we are cast into the lake of fire, stated in Revelation 20. I would not wish eternal separation from God on anyone....it will not be a party- it will be completely opposite. Hell is described in the Bible as a place of weeping and gnashing of teeth, where the worm does not die and the fire is not quenched... hell too will be thrown into the lake of fire, and it is explained in revelation as place of burning sulfur-- where those who are cast there are tormented day and night....does that sound nice? NO! I am being honest, and I would not leave the truth out-- it is the truth! Are you willing to take that chance?

THE ONLY GOOD THING I'M AFRAID IS THAT GOD HAS GIVEN US ALL A CHANCE TO ACCEPT AND HAVE RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM OR IGNORE HIM.tHIS WILL DETERMINE OUR ETERNAL DESTINIES.
THANKS FOR THIS INTERESTING QUESTION I WILL PRAY FOR YOU.
heY, lISTEN UP!:
rEVELATION 20;12-i ALSO SAW THE DEAD, GREAT AND SMALL;THEY STOOD BEFORE THE THRONE AND BOOKS WERE OPENED.Then another book was opened which is the book of life.and the dead were judged in accordance with what was in the books.
REVELATION 21:8- bUT AS FOR THE COWARDS, THE CONTEMPTIBLE, and the craven lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the UNBELIEVING and faithless, and as for the depraved and defiled with abominations, as for the murderers, the lewd and adulterous and the practicers of magic arts and the idolotars, all those who give supreme devotion to anyone/thing apart from God)and all liars-they shall have their part in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone.

As a Christian it's not my place to condemn, but I have a burden and responsibility as do other Christians to impart this truth to others, so that Heaven is a reality and possibility for EVERYONE.

Is this a quiz?
I can't think of one good thing that an atheist could possibly have to say about eternity.I didn't think they even believed in eternity. Here is a couple of scriptures that talk about Atheist, I hope they help you.
"Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and 'unbelieving' is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled." Titus 1:15

"But the fearful, and 'unbelieving', and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelations 21:8

This is for Sister C.L. Richardson. The evil that men do has created hell, not God.
"Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it." Isaiah 5:14

Sometimes I wonder. What if our energy just passes into another deminsion. The Bible even says that there is more here on earth that we can't see than there is that we can. Or could our soul go to a whole bundle of energy and little pieces get plucked out when new life if formed. Then there is the Christian version of it all. Or just maybe we are just died. I don't know. There are so many different ideas about what happens when we die. Truth is, no one knows. I refuse to call anyone wrong on the subject, but I also refuse to call anyone right. I've never received a post card from any of my died relatives or friends.

Even is that is true.....what hope do they have for the next day here on earth. What happens when everything goes wrong? It would seem like an atheist would feel like there is total chaos surrounding them at times. Hell would be here on earth. To quote Tupac Shakur, "Have you ever seen a crackhead, that's eternal fire."

Good News about eternity: you don't have to buy into those Aquinas philosophies and watch life pass you by.

More Good News: the Inquisition is over. You can come out of the closet without being burned at the stake. Vandalism and harassment though might be another story, depending on where you live.

How could an Atheist possibly have any news about something that he considers to only be superstition ? There is no "eternity" to an Atheist . It's all right here on earth . What yuh sees is what yuh gets .

They can feel smug because no one is better than them. They were the state of the art! R.I.P.

But there IS a GOD/Creator, and a "new birth", in the spirit, and forgiveness of sins with repentance; PLUS life eternal, and rewards "on the other side", in the after-life.

God bless you and all who visit here!

My kid brother Al died this summer, after a 15 year battle with cancer. But he's smiling in heaven today!

Ironically he was a "Die Hard" Red Sox and Patriots fan, who attended games in person!!!

Congrats Bosox. Go Pats!

Al is in his GLORY, in more ways than one!!! ;-)
