Last week I started getting shooting pains through the left side of my head to the back of my left eye. For the past couple of days the pain is more prolonged behind my eye and my neck is aching like billy oh . I have been under some stress and I suppose a bit more than usual which is why if others have had the same symptoms when stressed I dont want to bother my doc with it. Thanks

Sounds like a migraine you should take some pain killers and lay in a dark room and have a cold flannelette over your forhead.
If you continue to have them go and see your doctor he may be aible to prescribe you stronger pain killers.

Have your eyes checked. Eye stress can cause this along with other things. You really should go see your doctor.

stress or sinus headache. take sudafed for a couple days to see if it goes away. sinuses can cause all kinds of pains in your head. goodluck.

I'm sorry to say if its pain behind the eyeball,,you need to go to a optamolagest to let them look behind your eyeball to see if something wrong.. your pressure can be up...

that is how my migraines start. I take excedrin migraine and put an ice pack on the back of my neck and rest. all you can do
