from what, and how you put the question, it would seem this is causing you some degree of concern possibly with a relative,it also would appear this is more than one episode? our friend the RN is correct this could be alcohol abuse but, a reoccurring problem. There maybe other reasons. Why not get a professional opinion explaining in full the reoccurring symptom's. once the diagnosis is confirmed, you will be able to deal with the problems with confidence. good luck

an imbalance within the brain where the electrical messages pass to eachother with disturbances and cannot connect cutting the thought process for a short period...causing an absence siezure. epilem or diazepam are two drugs which are used to regulate the siezure activity, and control them but not cure them! x

It could be late onset epilepsy, brain tumour, cerebro-vascular disease or due to toxins such as drugs or alcohol.
