I am still 50/50 on this fight. I just don't know who to pick. Mosley is the better fighter and the better overall boxer. Cotto can punch, has a ton of heart, is very relentless, is younger, and Mosley is 36 I think. If Mosley was in his prime I would pick him without a doubt, but age is a factor in this fight. If Mosley's age doesn't catch up he should win, but you never know.

Okay, I gotta ask this. When did Sugar Shane Mosely replace anyone as the "baddest man on the planet" list?

Shane Mosely has too much experience? Yes, absolutely, at losing. Shane Mosely has not won a significant fight if five years (dont hand me Vargas, Vargas has BEEN done for five years). Anyone Mosely has fought, short of DLH, that was rated above three, he lost to. Mosely has spent the last five years basically sulking in the basement, shattered about Vernon Forrest (and where is HE these days?)

Look, I respect ANY ONE that laces up, no matter how they do in the ring. But lets not call Mosely any great shakes, he is the classic case of "Always the bridesmaid...never the bride". He has been living off of his rep of fighting DLH for years.

If anyone should be concerned, honestly it SHOULD be him. His footing sucks, he will get hit in the body alot (he has zero mobility). I cant remember the last time I saw him duck a headshot. Cotto is probably, no, DEFINITELY the most polished combination puncher/boxer that Mosely has ever faced, and that INCLUDED De La Hoya.

Mosely cant take a bodyshot, Vernon Forrest "Gump" showed that...and Forrest has a weak body punch by comparison to Cotto's....AND Forrest only threw them one at a time, not five. AND that beating he suffered a LONG time ago...hes considerably older now and without as much to recuperate from bodyshots.

I wouldnt start jumping on Shane's bandwagon just yet. If Shane is smart, he will figure out this is probably the hardest fight he is ever going to get into.

I think Mosley will win because he is the better boxer. I think Shane was down against Vernon Forest & no one else. He fought Oscar twice, Vargas twice, & Winky twice & none of those guys knocked him to the canvas. I think all of those guys hit harder than Cotto. Plus Cotto was easy for Zab Judah to hit & Zab got him in trouble & then Cotto hit him low twice while in trouble. I think Shane outboxes him & he's still quicker than Cotto & will TKO Cotto around round 10.

This is the one time that Cotto's lack of defense and suspect chin will REALLY hurt him. Mosley is a good puncher and a GREAT finisher. Once he gets Cotto hurt, he will not let him off the hook like others have. Mosley by an early stoppage

as of now 38% of the predictions cast in the liverpuncher fantasy boxing league say Mosley will win.

which means 62% say Cotto will win.

my record in the league is in the Top Ten of all members, and i am going with Mosley to stop Cotto. Cotto Has No Chin

Check out the leauge its pretty cool they keep track of your prediction record ....

Sugar Shane wins this one.Experience and superior hand speed are factors in this fight .Cotto not good with agile and quick fighters (Corley n Judah).Problem with them they couldnt finish or closed the fight but Sugar does.key :Cotto doesnt have alot of head movement and will lose on the exchange.

No disrespect to sugar shane and all hes done for boxing hes had some great battles and beaten some of the best but there isnt to much left in the tank for this guy, Cotto is up and coming and in his prime this is sort of a set up fight for him to push him to the next level plus hes proven that he can take a few good punches and still come back Cotto to win..

You are the smartest person on the the planet. This will be a one sided fight. Cotto will be flat footed and confused. Shane throw hard punches from every angle. Cotto's body shot will be ineffective. I see a KO or a very bloody decision.

that is a bold statement, but you may be right..... shane is the better fighter but so was Meldrick Taylor when he fought Chavez.... can never count out heart and determination and oh yes punching power that might of left shane at 140 pounds and many years ago... will be a great fight no doubt but i think Cotto has a great chance of winning by KO ..... matter of fact i got Cotto to win the fight ....but if your wrong you need to come back on november 11th and make aMENDS

Too much skill to much Experience. Cotto is Good but he gets hit to much. Mosley will dress him up and take him out.
