I believe it is one of the many signs, I think what the nonbelievers call 'global warming' is as well, and so is the rise in nonbelievers in general, Paul wrote that in the last days there would be a great falling away in the faith, and the Lord knows that we see enough false teachers today.

All things considered, there is less corruption in the Catholic Church than there was down through the years. That's not to say that it's acceptable or accepted. There is every bit as much corruption in other religions, but because the Catholic Church is so large, it obviously gets more coverage. Any corruption-in any organization should never be tolerated, but I dont think the present condition is prelude to the apocolypse.
