I think that in this day and age, it should certainly be permitted. As a former Catholic, I think it would have made me have a continued relationship with my church had I believed that the Church didn't discriminate against women. I feel that the Catholic Church must come up with a way of including more people in the priesthood in general (i.e. women, married people, etc.) or risk running out of men who are willing to give up everything for the priesthood.

I beleive women can and have and will serve the Lord. Debra was a very strong priestess leader for God. She appointed Barak to lead the army, but he was afraid to go without her. She had a deep faith in God. She united the people of Israel and lead them to victory against the Canaanites. She was a get r done kind of woman. God chooses whomever to spread his message. Women are not excluded. Women can definitely be in the priesthood. No where has God said no concerning this.

I believe that women should be able to be in the priesthood. Why would The Divine, by whatever name you call IT, disregard a spiritual woman who could do such a task.
