He's bascially saying that at anytime, the casino CAN control the payout of the machines at anytime with their slot techs.
Uuuuhhhhh, it's that illegal? That would be discrimination. I was surprised the female holding the video camera recording him didn't acted disgusted by what he said, but just kept laughing instead. Please tell me he's wrong, that there isn't a "dial" so they can't give me a lower payback percentage if they hate me. That would be discrimination and would be illegal.

In theory, he's correct that a casino can control the payout of an individual machine. But it can't be done at just any time.

Two identical machines right next to each other can be set to different payout levels. One might be 98%, the other might be 80%.

In order to change it, you would have to change the chip inside the machine. You can't change it just by flipping a switch or turning a dial.

Each machine can be set to a certain payout percentage *over the long run*. On any individual spin, you can hit a jackpot, or you can lose, or anything in between.

At least, this is how it works in localities (like Las Vegas and Atlantic City) that have gaming commissions that monitor casinos.

Ha Ha can't you see it was all tongue in cheek, the machines are programmed to pay out a certain percentage by law...
This is recorded for the authorities to ascertain licensing fees taxes etc..so say if your winning heaps then they can say sorry machine out of order is correct coz sometimes it does happen LOL very rarely tho...cameras watching LOL
They have to pay out a minimum percent the casino can up it but not lower it...if ya get me drift..cheers ♥
