the best way to avoid getting a cold or the flu is basic simple hygiene. In other words, keep cleaning your hands. Carry a hand sanitizer with you and use it anytime you have to touch a public surface, like door knobs, a desk top. Avoid touching your face unless you have cleaned your hands. Drink a lot of water to keep yourself hydrated and your immune system strong. Airborne is a good product, but it will not immunize you against becoming ill, it will only reduce the symptoms and duration of any illness you do come down with. Prevention is worth a ton of Airborne or any product like it.

Keep your hands washed and avoid touching your face.
Use Purell after you have handled something that other people have touched, like a hand rail or a table.
Don't share drinks, food, makeup - anything.
Take Airborne - a drinkable, fizzy vitamin tablet in many flavors. Follow the directions on the box (the first person said 3 sips of water, but the directions indicate a lot more). Also, the Nurse is confusing Airborne with Zicam and other symptom-reducers. Airborne is a preventative measure, inasmuch as using vitamins and herms can prevent a cold. You can also take regular Vitamin C.
Eat healthy foods and get plenty of exercise and tons of sleep! When you eat junk and don't get enough sleep, it causes cell inflamation - which leaves you vulnerable to virus attack.
If you have multiple classes, wipe down your desk (along the sides, too) to clear away the germs left behind by the previous person. Carry a portable pack of wipes.

Oregano Oil.
It's a fantastic way to both avoid viruses and shorten their stay when you do get sick.
It used to be used to sterilize surgical instruments, before autoclaves took over. It's an anti-viral/anti-bacterial and works amazingly well as a natural remedy/preventative.
You put a couple of drops under your tongue each morning during cold and flu season, or any time you've been around sick people. You can also use it in an atomizer, and inhale it. If you've been around people who are coughing and you've inhaled an infection, inhaling the oregano oil will kill the infection before it takes hold.
All my family and friends swear by this, since trying it. My mother has given it as gifts to all her friends because it's worked so well for her.
GL and stay well :D

Drink a lot of vitamin C enriched juices because vitamin C will boost your immune system. Or just take an Ascorbic Acid everyday! Or just stay out of those people who are sick.

Purell or any of the waterless hand cleaners. I discovered that from a dentist who went on a excursion bus. each and every physique have been given unwell aside from her. She suggested she is fanatical approximately cleansing her arms. Sorry it is not a house scientific care although that is extremely decrease priced in case you get it in an off form at locations like aim or Walmart. stable success! I hate getting unwell.

airborne... you just disolve it in a little bit of water (enough for maybe 3 sips) and then drink it... it says on the box how many times a day, but it works GREAT
