You don't seem to understand God very well. You should meditate/prayer for guidance, do mind-body exercises, and eat healthier. You might have to do some research into good spiritual ideas. Also focusing on doing positive thing in this world will connect you closer to God. You need to develop a picture of God, that will be helpful to you, it may not be like a traditional picture of God.
