The Earth has had ice ages, they were cooling periods, between them were warming periods. This has been going on for all of Earth’s 4 + - billion years. This all happened before any of the modern day technology came into being and will continue after we are gone.
The Earth is going through a pole shift right now. A pole shift is when the magnetic poles swap polarities. During pole shifts the magnetosphere is weaker and more of the Sun’s rays strike the Earth, this causes extra heating of the Earths surface, and makes global warming more pronounced.
These are natural cycles of the Earth. We puny stupid humans can no more stop or even reduce a natural cycle of the Earth, than the man in the moon. This is 9th grade science, and one would think that scientists and politicians would be better educated, but it seems that this not so, and they could remember 9th grade science class too.
This may just may be another smoke and mirrors propaganda campaign to cover our governments lies and con games. There are so many conspiracies running rampant it’s hard to tell which are real and which are just simple stupidity. The idea we can stop global warming IS stupidity at it’s highest form.

Junkscience.com isn't offering anything, and won't have to pay a cent regardless of the amount of proof shown of anything.
1. The man offering the sham "prize" (Steven Milloy) is also the sole judge of who "wins". Therefore nobody will ever win, regardless of the proof.
If Steve Milloy were an honest man, he'd put the prize money (which I seriously doubt he even has) in escrow, and appoint neutral judges to determine the award.
2. In addition to proving that global warming is caused by man -- which is so easy anyone can do it -- you ALSO have to do something impossible: prove an unprovable statement about future economic activity.
I hereby offer a prize of ten billion dollars to anyone who can prove that Steven Milloy is an honest man. (And that God exists). And I'm the sole judge of the award. No prizewinner? Milloy must be a liar then.

The problem is there is evidence the warming isn't caused by Man, specifically the Martian polar caps are also melting. There is actually excellent data that shows this warming pattern has happened many times in the past, and this one is showing the same regular cycle. I personally believe we would be better off without so much CO2 and soot in the atmosphere, and it makes greater sense for us to get off this foreign oil addiction by drastic measures if needed. What this country desperately needs is a huge scientific project of the magnitude of an A-Bomb project, to create a way to convery atmospheric CO2 into a usable energy source.

There's just two catches.
1) What is "scientific proof"? Is it 100% no doubt about it proof? By that standard, the evolutionary theory is not proven either. Nor is any scientific theory.
2) JunkScience.com gets to decide whether or not you've proven it. Gee, I wonder how honest they'll be about it.
It's just a bogus publicity stunt.
JunkScience.com was founded by Phillip Morris Tobacco Company to depict peer-reviewed science which found a link between smoking and lung cancer as "junk science" and corporate-funded research finding no link as "sound science". Now it's funded by ExxonMobile and does the same for global warming and greenhouse gas emissions.

Good luck. You can't even prove that the Earth is round to the satisfaction of the Flat Earth Society. You cannot prove anything to someone who is determined not to believe you.
