He WAS buried. Perhaps you should read the Bible first?
A rich man asked permission to take down the body of Jesus after it was ascertained that he was clearly dead, and then he buried him in his own tomb.
The enemies of Jesus asked the Romans to place a stone in front of the cave and place guards to keep anybody from stealing the body, because they knew Jesus said that in 3 days he would raise it up again, and they didn't want the latter "lie" to be greater than the first.
But the morning of the 3rd day, Jesus arose from the grave, the stone was pushed out of the way, and the guards were as though they were dead.
The women, while walking to the tomb even asked how they would roll the stone away to finish the burial preparations that were interrupted by the Passover Sabbath.
The grave couldn't hold Jesus because He conquored death and the grave, and He's alive!

because it was the custom in His days that people were put in caves/tombs after they were prepared for burial (which explains the towels). you have to remember that the particular tomb he was placed in was really purchased for and by his friend, Joseph of Arithmea. Joseph was a wealthy man and all the wealthy people were put in tombs after their death....also the women didn't have a lot of time to fully prepare Him for the burial since it was time for the passover feast the Israelites celebrated. They were going to go back and finish it, but when they got there the tomb was empty

His body was placed in a tomb.
That is the same as being buried, that was a Jewish Custom. Abraham was also placed in a tomb for burial.

You're joking, right?
Ok...
The practice back then was to wrap up the body, place it in a cave and put nice-smelling things around it. After a couple of months, the body will have decomposed. THEN you "bury" the body.
Its just the culture.

No. He was put in a tomb. With a large rock blocking the entrance. Then his body disappeared a few days later.

It was prophesied in the Old Testament where he would be put:
Isaiah 53:9
He was assigned a grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death, though he had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth.
And so he was laid in a tomb made for a rich man.
It was their way to make tombs with a stone to cover it with.

People were put in tombs in those days and they were sealed with huge rocks. He was therefore buried as per the times. Of course he didn't stay buried. Thanks be to GoD!

He was. He was placed in a tomb sealed with a rock, which is a form of burial.
