Just soap and water, nothing else.
The commercial forces are just fooling you that you skin do NOT need their chemicals products.

Mary Kay is good i like the timewise products. My friend told me to try Aveda salon products and I am going to. Basis soap is a good face wash(It is not really soap but it looks like soap). It is recommended by dermatologists. There alot of things to try now days. Aubrey Organics has some all natural products that are good, the sea buckthorn and the lotions are great. Jason products are good too.

If your problem is having pimples/acne, go and ask your dermatologist about Roaccutane. It is taken orally but with precautions like a woman should not be pregnant or planning to get pregnant while taking it as there is a risk of having a malformed baby, etc. Shouldn't be a problem at all if you aren't. It is normally taken for 9 months or so depending on the severity of the acne. You bet, it really works!

Truly, it depends on your skin type. I have had great success with skin care products from Arbonne International.
