Don't think so - God made the sun yellow [ at least in appearance ] as well as a lot of early flowers [ daffodils, forsythia, tulips ] so how could it be weird?
Don't forget bananas, pears, lemons, corn, squash, wax beans, mustard.....
I love yellow! It's nature's cheer up color. I always have a yellow kitchen, and a yellow guest room. OOH! also a yellow toothbrush, comb, etc.

Yellow is the color of my kitchen and when I was a kid it was the color of my bedroom. In the kitchen of a bathroom it and brighten up a room when natural light is scarious. Also in a nursery when you do not want to know the sex. And hey if YOU like it than do it its your room your home do what feels right to you!!! Above all Else paint is cheap if you don't like it after a week change it, or just buy a pint and just do one wall to see if you will like it!!!

Well it depends, there are so many shades! For a room if its a pale yellow no, but if its bright yes its very weird! Pale yellow is good!

I LOVE yellow. It represents the sun which is one of the biggest stars in the sky and gives us life. But I do admit, it can look cheesy if done wrong. If you can find a good combo that matches your personality then go for it!

yellow is great when you add a tiny tiny touch of red (or intense orange if you wanna play it safe). the touch of red makes it fruity and pleasant and not too "in your face"
