2012 the end?

With most things pointing at this year and not the findings from Nostredomus lost book saying 2012 is indeed the end. Should we start getting ready mad max style?

I assure you that the world will not end on December 21, 2012 or in the near future. Nostradamus prediction when the earth will end is far into the future, past about 3700. The Mayan’s Mesoamerican Long Count calendar forms the basis for a New Age belief, first forecast by Jose Arguelles, that a cataclysm will take place on or about 21 December 2012 (Wikipedia).

In the book of Revelation, it tells us about a period of a thousand years of peace. Has this occurred already since the time of Jesus? Not yet. That will still come. Those that give such predictions as 2012 and numerous times during the past are pseudo-preachers. Have they talked to God directly? If so, give proofs.

But there is something that is certain—and that is our physical death. This is what we should prepare for. It may come when least expected. We do not know the day and the hour. It will come like a thief in the night. So we just have to be prepared all the time. Search for the true God and when we find Him, follow His commandments and remain in Him until our last dying breath.

This is all that we have to do. It is faith in Him that we can take with us when we depart from this world. If we deny Him, He will deny us also before the Father in Heaven. If we know Him and love Him and followed His commandments, then He may reward us to live with Him eternally in His kingdom in Heaven. This is the survival kit that we should have.

12/21/12 is the end date of the Mayan calender. It's where the I-Ching ends when a certain form is laid out. There's something Biblical, too, but I don't remember what. Astronomers say the earth will be in alignment with the sun and in the Milky Way-the center (it's actual science-not forecast whatever).
Hopefully, humans will just experience a transformation of some mental sort but extinction is a possibility. Happened to the dinosaurs.

If you wanna get ready you can, but it is not the end of the world. But I got... well my mom got a book that's called "The Mysterys Of 2012" or something like that. In one part of the book it said something about it's going to be the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT. Meaning, the world will still be here, but things will be a bit different. I think my mom said something about people are going to start to become more nicer and more God like or something like that and if you go with the flow then things will be better for you and if you don't then it may be a bit harder for you because I'm guessing like here is all these nice people and your a mean one or something like that. I need to learn more about that.

I was glancing though the book and reading some sentences here and there and I saw that it said something about comet are predicted to pound the earth 2010-2011 I think. Don't worry we are going to survive I would say well, unless the comets really do come and one lands on us then no we are not going to live unless it's a mirical or something.

I know that 2012 has something to do with the Mayan calender ending somewhere in that year in December, but not the end of the WORLD. I think it's just the end of the big 26,000 year cycle thing and then after that date the big 26,000 year cycle thing is going to start all over. I also heard like every 26,000 years the planets line up all together in fornt of the sun so that might happen to.

Oh yea, something I heard about the Mayans:
I heard that some people think they are from another planet or something because they knew stuff was going to happen before they even came, they predicted alot of things about the future, they made all kinds of stuff about what outter space looks like, I think some of the stuff they predicted was true, and one day they just went into the woods or something and disappeard and they is no dead bodies that are theirs and no one know for sure what happened to them. They was also very smart about stuff or something. I'm not saying I belive all that stuffand that they are from another planet I'm just saying way I heard about them.

I also heard something about we are in the 4th sun and we will be going into the 5th about in 2012. I also heard some other stuff, but I'll just leave it at that.

I also heard that there is going to be some sort of Polar shift that I guess the North Pole and South Pole are going to do. Maybe the Polars will become warmer or something or maybe some sort of climate change.

I said on a cover of a BOOK that it is "the year of desiny" or something like that and there is going to be exciting events. I know it might have said on the cover that it has been predicted that peope live in the "end times", but it is NOT the end of the world, not unless God wants it to. Cuz I heard that not even Jesus himself knows when the end of the world would come, only God. Unless God ask Jesus if he's ready to end the would and then Jesus says yes or no then it would be Jesus choice. So don't belive it if it says the end of the world will come because it's Gods choice not people's choice.

I know it said that things will be a bit different in 2012. It might be in a bad way, but it don't always have to mean changeing in a bad way, it could be changing in a good way.

The most probable threat is the return trip of the planet Nibiru. I calculate anywhere from now to 2207, about 3,600 years after it's gravitational pull stopped the Earth's spin during the time of Joshua's battle where the sun stood still. The ancients called this planet the Lord. Bringing with it asteroids and space debris, it can indeed rain fire and brimstones. A direct hit would certainly crush the Earth to pieces.

I don't think we should exactly start getting ready "mad max style" because you don't even know if his prediction was totally right. I definitely wouldn't start panicking but if you think the world will definitely end in 2012 than you can start getting ready.

I say yes. We are specifically commanded not to predict the day of the Lord's return on the one hand; on the other hand we are told to watch for the signs of the end times and be prepared for His coming...

Once again, it's just an idea that we're entering a new epoch - we're currently in the transition that started in 1987 and ends in December of that year. Not that the world will end!
