... would he...sit down with them and preach about how wrong this is or would he congratulate them and give them his blessing?

I know I know....this is just a thought I'm not saying it would actually happend, my point is, from what we learn in the Bible about Jesus, wouldn't he see the love between 2 people as a good thing gay or not? I don't believe in God but I believe Jesus was a good man.

Gotto go feed baby so I'll just leave it at that.

Happy halloween all

Hi CC :)

I think that Jesus would happily join in the celebration....

The bible is a book that has been modified countless times throughout the ages to suit those who wished to frighten and control the populations that they directed....

The intial "bible" writings were first recorded approximately 200 years after Jesus departed from our planet....

Remember, if you tell one person a story, then that person tells another, do you think the story will remain intact once the thirtieth person is asked to share it ?

Jesus judged no one, for he did not judge himself....

Jesus came to remind all of humanity that we are ALL*(not just himself) the sons and daughters of God.... In the present day bible, this vital message is missing....

Jesus loved himself wholly and truly without judgement or conditions of any kind.... He came to help us learn to love ourselves in this way too, and inturn we shall love all of our brothers and sisters for the beautifully unique and wonderful beings that they are.

Happy Halloween to you too !!!! :)

Snow :) :) :)

This is a fun question for me cause it gives me an opportunity to speculate on what I think Jesus would do based on what I have learned about His teachings, His holiness, and His desire that all people would come to know God through Him, so here goes....

I think he would take the couple aside and explain to them how God created us male and female and gave us the directive to be fruitful and multiply and that man shall leave his mother and a woman would leave her home and the two shall become one flesh before God. He would then teach them about Satan's cunning deceit of man using our own fleshly desires (lusts, if you will), unreliable emotions, and a host of other perversions of what & how God intended us to live and relate to each other.

At that point, I believe the couple being awestruck by His compassion and authority would tell everyone to go home, that the wedding was all a big mistake.

If this scenario was actually recorded in the Bible, I believe Jesus would also tell the couple to go and sin no more.

You might want to read the story of the woman at the well. Jesus never condemned her but He told her about the life she was leading. He didn't condemn her lifestyle, but He also told her to go and sin no more. I would not say that was approval of her lifestyle. Now, I do not agree with condemning the gay couple, but the bible does not approve of that lifestyle.

I believe that the way Christians are called to live their lives is just like the way Jesus lived His. If we really did that the way we should, it would be enough to point people to Him. Sadly, we often beat people up with His words. That just succeeds in turning them the other way.

Is the wedding being held in the middle of a lake.

Because Jesus could just walk over to that one too.

If you don't believe in God, you don't believe in Jesus. He would probably ask them to repent and still love them. Jesus hates the sin, but loves the sinner.

I believe Jesus would sit with them tell them what he wants from each of them and embrace them as his children. Weather or not what they are doing is wrong doesn't change his love for them. We are taught that he loves us all, the fornicator, the thief, the whore, all of us.
