I was making a good atheist lunch you know, minding my own business, just getting ready to put some mustard on my bologna sandwich, when goodness gracious, I think I spotted Jesus on my plate. Now, maybe it is just an optical illusion or the way the light was coming in the kitchen window, but tell me, is it a miracle?, or should I just go ahead an eat my sandwich?

lol, I don't know if I can give you a good answer to this one. I would write it off as a religious experience if you were eating rye bread. Did you use peyote laced, Miracle Whip? If so, I would say, yes. I heard it grows pretty well in AZ.

I know this has been mentioned, but really? Bologna? If you need something edible to eat, I will make you a sandwich. I can't really cook, but I can make a mean sandwich.

You have just had more religious experience during lunch than I have ever had in my 37 years of life; you are blessed, my son, your days shall henceforth be filled with stigmata and bologna....which either makes for a bloody good lunch or the subject of a movie starring Jane Fonda and Meg Tilly.
I can see it now, "Agnes of God, part 2: the Oscar Mayer years!" ;)

That bologna is so bad, it's making ME hallucinate Jesus.
Although one time, I was frying some tasty tripe and I swear I saw the Pope in a lady's hat.

it seems like you had. you definitely had an iconic one. but only you can know if it was acutally a religious one.
wow imagine if someone were to franchise that!
or if they started using it insted of those little wafers...
and next time, dont use church letters as wrappers for your sandwich!

I dunno - that baloney looks like it's gone bad... go get a nice ham sandwich from a deli...
Religious experience during lunch? Why yes, but to post details will get me a violation at the very least. Let's just say god was called upon more than once... wink, wink.
