Lymph nodes are located in this area and they swell when there is an infection. A swollen lymph node is kind of soft, and the edges are not distinct. If the lump is very hard and round, its likely to be a cyst. If it doesn't fit either of these descriptions, then it should be examined by a doc without waiting.

Waiting a few days makes good sense if you think this is a swollen lymph node, but if you don't think it is a lymph node, then there's no point in waiting to see the doc.

A lump interior the throat isn't an Infectious ailment. you haven't any longer have been given a left and proper thyroid even with the undeniable fact that it does have left and proper wings. it quite is butterfly-formed. you apart from mght don't have a lump on your throat. The thyroid gland is outdoors the throat and is placed on the anterior of the neck with the trachea proper at the back of it. Your throat (esophagus) is at the back of your trachea. in case your physician informed you that your thyroid gland is swollen, the physician is right. it truly is thyroiditis and has no longer something to do with lymph glands or nodes. it may strengthen into inflammed and it truly is oftentimes viral. it is going to establish by ability of itself.

You need to get to the dr a.s.a.p. Google lymphoma. It is a deadly cancer. It could very well be a tumor on your lymphoid. That is exactly how a dear friend of mine found out she had it. She thought for years it was just a pain free knot on her throat but it ended up being a sign of a cancer that was eating her up. I'm not trying to scare you but you need to check it out. It could always be nothing but you need to find out. The sooner the better. Best of luck. I'll pray for you.

DON'T WAIT a few days--go to a doctor now. Just because it doesn't hurt doesn't mean it's not cancer.
It may be nothing, but why chance it. The earlier its caught the better!
