Have you repented of your pride and sins? Only through believing in God, accepting Jesus as lord and repenting is there salvation.
Shellfish... that's why I'm hungry... lunchtime!
Mark 7
18"Are you so dull?" he asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'?
19For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods "clean.")
20 He went on: "What comes out of a man is what makes him 'unclean.'
21 For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery,
22 greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly.
23 All these evils come from inside and make a man 'unclean.' "

I know you are hating life right now. Something terrible has happened to you. Were you abused or beaten dear?
I am so sorry. We all are. Trust me. If you need anything you just throw it out into the universe. You are obviously well read in the Bible. Context means everything . So your answers will come if you keep calling us. I care. You have a friend in me.

Colossians 2:16
Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day,
Colossians 2:17
These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

You should really start reading the answers to your questions before you post another similar one.
Please educate us -- where did Jesus warn us that we can't eat shellfish (or ref. your other question, wear mixed fibers)?

Jesus said that it is not what goes into your bodies that is harmful, but what comes out of your mouth. (Mattherw 15:11)
When Jesus died for our sins, the old dietary laws were done away with.
No worries!
Jesus never warned us not to eat shellfish or anything else.

I read a shirt once that said 'Jesus loves you...but I'm his favorite!' lol
I was told that shell-fish are 'bottom feeders' so the Buy-bull was accurate in saying you should not eat them. But, 'they've' been saying 'the end is near' since Jesus' time. Eventually, they might get it right.

I guess he knew I would have a hard time with this temptation because he made me allergic to shellfish.

the fundies are going to say that any laws in the old testament were given up when JC sacrificed himself on the cross for our sins....except JC NEVER said that "I'm offering my self for the sins off mankind"
that was written by Paul much later...
Early christians often fought about whether or not they needed to convert to judaism first before becoming christian, then the romans realized they'd lose a lot more converts if they made judaism a requirement first, so they finageled the rules around judaism and made the judaic offshoot christianity into its own religion that was based off pagan roman holidays...but the fundies and literalists don't want to take the time to study the history of their religion and just prove their ignorance by claiming superior religion to anyone elses,,,it's the old us vs. them mentality
ridiculing literalists and fundies is entertaining but ultimately serves no purpose because they aren't going to hear you
