I think Billy Joel is TERRIFIC. When singing with his songs I "FEEL" the music. I really enjoy "We Didn't Start The Fire" and singing with that "JFK Blown Away WHAT ELSE DO I HAVE TO SAY!" I saw "Movin' Out" in Hollywood the year it opened and VISA was advertising it for their cards (Twyla Tharp is brilliant).
Others: Andrea Boccelli "Ponte con Tiro", Frank Sinatra "That's Life" "My Way" "Chicago" "Last Dance", etc. Bon Jovi anything, Eagles anything, Commodores "Easy like Sunday morning", etc. This list goes on but do not want to bore you!
Wait a minute - I'm a California Guy and where would I be without the Beach Boys? Little Old Lady From Pasadena (15 minutes from the USC Campus), California Girls, Dead Man's Curve (or was that Jan and Dean), Otis Redding - Sitting on the Dock of the Bay, Jim Croce - Big Bad Leroy Brown, whew....I better stop here. "I Love L.A."
Then? There are "The Doors", Jimi Hendrix, Stones, Beatles, Cream, Led Zepplin, The Who, The Cars, Moody Blues, Steely Dan songs stuff I haven't listened to in a long time - but love. Come to think of it - the only "Door" I haven't met is Jim Morrison and he died when I was 9.
